Question:	In a power outage will the alarm still work
Answer:	Yes. It may not display the time but it will remember the time and set off the alarm. At least the old model did. This one I haven't had a power failure to test it yet, but it SHOULD do the same thing. The only time it wont' do it, based on experiences with the old clock, is when the battery in it is low.

Answer:	Yes, it does, But you can also charge your Fitbit on the USB slot which is on the back of this cool radio. I do. The headphone jack can be used when you press the 2nd button on but push it until it reads AUX=AUH an audio source which shows on the LED display, connect your audio or mobile device and play music thru the unit with the 3.5mm earphone jack. Question:	Are there two brightness settings? Many alarm clocks are too bright for me
Answer:	It does have brightness settings. See previous answers. I personally do not care for the brightness at either setting, so I cut a piece of heavy white construction paper (about 6 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches), set the clock to dimmest setting and place the construction paper over the front of the display. The paper usually sticks there by itself (due to static electricity) and I only need it at night. The time is still visible in a dark room. Works great!

Answer:	Yes, it will. The battery can be a back-up power source to work.

Answer:	I have the same problem. The clock worked fine for about 2 months. Then the display went off. Reconnect the power cord would light up the display. But it went off in 20 sec. It comes back when I touch it, but will go off again in 20 sec. Following the Common Trouble Shooting Q&A, double press the "Down" button does NOT fix the problem. Question:	Can you hear the minute,hour or second had move with that annoying tick tick sound every second
Answer:	no, you can't hear a peep. it is quiet. the only thing you hear, is the alarm going off.
Question:	How long does it last on a single battery
Answer:	The battery life will depend on whether you use the alarm every day or just use it to keep time. I have gotten maybe a week, 2 at the most, out of the required one AA battery (1.5 volts) because the alarm needs the juice to make the hammer fly back and forth to strike the bells with the amount of force it uses to make this as loud as it is. Once it starts to drain down to 1.44 volts (I've verified that with a voltmeter), the clock loses time (45 minutes to an hour in less than a day!) so I have to change it every week. There is no way that this can keep time for more than 4 months using the alarm several times a week. It should have been made using 2 batteries to keep it going longer.
Question:	How long does the ringing last
Answer:	LOL! Until the dead are awake! Seriously it keeps ringing... I think it might stop after a minute because it will be past the alarm time. It's so obnoxiously loud that I don't wait that long to find out. ;)

Answer:	as a clock dial, the calibrations indicate one minute per scale. However as an alarm dial, the calibrations indicate 12 minutes per scale. Since it quartz alarm clock, not digital alarm clock, the alarm will goes off nearly the time you set.

Answer:	To clarify other answers. The center top button turns the nightlight on and off when the alarm is not sounding. When the alarm sounds the center top button is a nine minute snooze. During a power failure the top center button displays the time. To turn alarm off until the next day click on the hour or minute button. To turn alarm off completely use the button on the back.

Answer:	Almost 2 inches tall - HUGE! We got rid of our cable so I was without a clock by my tv. This clock is perfect! The display numbers are even better than my old cable box, Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't think it can be turned off completely. I don't like lights when I am sleeping either, but somehow the red glow does not bother me at the dim setting. The bright setting is meant to guide planes down during the day, I think.

Answer:	I have had the same problem. It does not seem to light automatically in the dark room, which is what I wanted. If I push the top right "Button" it lights for a few seconds but that is all.

Answer:	You can only see the display at night if the room is very dark and you have it set to so the Smart Nightlight is on. When you do this, you will be able to see the display, but it is not bright enough to be a nightlight. If the room has any light at all the Smart Nightlight does not activate and you cannot see the display very well. When you hit the snooze button on the top it does light up quite brightly, but that only stays on for 10 seconds.

Answer:	It's a standard battery maybe 2 months. Alkaline lasts a little longer.

Answer:	This clock is made in China. I would have preferred another country, but I could not fine one that was suitable for our needs. I have to say, it works very well.
