Answer:	I know the battery will keep your programmed settings on the radio if there is a power outage. You can use the radio for a limited period of time. I keep a very small battery operated radio which uses three double A just in case.

Answer:	Mostly all stations loud and clear except for one that has a very weak signal.(Doesn't come in on any radio in the house) Biggest caution is the remote --non intuitive to program but doable. They will answer support question in 1-2 days. Much better than Crosley CD/ Radio unit that I sent back.

Question:	I use Sirius XM, can it play that
Answer:	No. I’ve had mine for several years, and at this point it barely plays CDs. I would advise against buying one.
Question:	Can you use earphones with it
Answer:	I never did, but there is a port on the lower left side right below the volumn knob to use. I love the cd player. Sound is real good but the FM radio reception is not great. But I bought it for the cd player so it doesn't matter.
Question:	Can you read the clock in the dark? Is it backlit
Answer:	Yes it is lit. It is also small. I do like the unit tho.
Question:	Does this radio have an Ipod or MP3 jack
Answer:	It has a jack where you can plug in headphones. I'm a little technology illiterate, so I don't know abut iPod or MP3. I hope this info helps you.
