I just ordered this product, and while the settings for the alarm and the time will be retained during a power outage with batteries installed, the ALARM WILL NOT GO OFF (either alarm or radio) unless there is AC power. So if the power is out when your alarm is supposed to go off, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. I find this to be a ridiculous design and do not recommend it for anyone to use.

Answer:	My measurements for this radio are 4.9" wide, 2.1" high, and 4.5" deep. Since the cord exits the rear of the clock, the depth dimension is a bit uncertain (in terms of "will it fit into a space").
Question:	How do you turn the alarm completely off
Answer:	if you want put the alarm to sleep (not snooze the alarm) when it is beeping, then you have to press the ON/OFF button. It's in the middle button group.If you want to completely turn off the alarm (as in any future alarms), then press the button for the alarm that you want to turn off. then hold that button again for a couple of seconds. then press it again 1-2 times until the light for that alarm (either on the left side for 1, right side for 2) cycles/toggles and goes away. The alarms have 2 options: either the beep sound or radio. The light for those options need to turn off in order for the alarm to turn off completely.

Answer:	It is possible to dim the display by pressing the "snooze" button. I do not know specifically how many settings there are, but it can be made quite dim.

Answer:	I don't think so. I have mine set for 6am every morning. I turn it off for weekends. You have to set it for a time. Doesn't work as a timer.

Question:	Are the dual alarms for weekday vs. wkend only or can you set one alarm for m-f and the other to m-f at a different time? For two different people
Answer:	When using the RCR-20 in Bluetooth mode, the volume is lower than when using the unit in the radio mode. Turning up the volume on either the RCE-20 or your device (e.g., iPhone) a few clicks easily brings up the Bluetooth volume. When switching back to radio mode you will need to turn down the volume because it will be louder in radio mode. I have owned the RCR-20 for over one year and played music and audio book on it through Bluetooth, and I have never found the volume to be insufficient. The unit will play music or audio books in Bluetooth mode louder than you can stand to hear it. I would also point out that the sound from this unit is clear and crisp. This is a great unit and I recommend it.
Question:	does projection stay on until cancelled
Answer:	I can only compare it to the Boston Acoustic that it replaced, and say it's plenty loud to listen to NPR in the morning in a 15x15 bedroom. Its a nice radio but as noted in other reviews, its not easy to set up and configure.
Question:	how does auto time set work
Answer:	No. It has an auxiliary in plug, a headphone input plug, and a USB plug that allows charging an iPhone. It does have Bluetooth capability so that you can play music and podcasts from a phone or tablet through the radio. I do this often and the sound quality is very good when using Bluetooth. I am an audiophile with an audiophile home system, and this radio (which is in my bathroom) delivers impressive sound for its size and price, especially when in Bluetooth mode.
Question:	hows the radio
Answer:	Your location, house/apt construction and distance to station desired will all play a part in reception. Switching sides in a room or your dwelling can make a difference. Sometimes, even a foot will make a difference. I have had both this unit and the WR-22. Sangean has some of the best consumer AM/FM radio front ends you can buy. Devices in your home (light dimmers, computers, fluorescent fixtures, etc) can all cause AM reception problems. I have found the reception on both the RCR-20 and WR-22 to be quite good. Disclaimer - I live 20 miles north of NYC, so i am in a swamp of RF, and I live in a house with plaster walls and metal lathe... That said, the selectivity is very good on the radios and this also makes for good reception. The WR-22 allows you to connect an external AM antenna, and an external FM antenna. What you can also use is a Terk Indoor AM Antenna ADVANTAGE (Amazon has it) that can (passively or directly attached) improve your reception when you are exceeding the capabilities of the built-in AM antenna. I used the Terk very successfully for years (passively) with a Proton RS-330 clock radio. It really helped. I almost kept the RCR-20, but the ability to connect external AM/FM antennas was one deciding factor; so I went with the WR-22 instead. Try the RCR-20 out. If it doesn't receive to your satisfaction, pick up the Terk. Good luck.

Answer:	Just to clarify, there are only 2 total alarms, so you can't have 2 different M-F alarms and an additional alarm for weekends. You get two, total. If you set them both to M-F you can. Your choices for days when setting the alarm is 1-5 (M-F), 1-7 (every day), 6-7 (Saturday and Sunday), or 1-1, which then prompts you to select which one day of the week (by choosing a number from 1-7) that you want it to go off. It's not customizable for any other combination of days.
Question:	What are the dimensions
Answer:	yes it does stay on until you cancel it.it can be Projected on the ceiling or a wall.
Question:	does it have headphone jacks
Answer:	The clock has a coin cell backup. The time only needs to be set once every few years. Similar to a computer. How does your computer know the time even though you turn off the power? It has a coin cell.
Question:	Does this have a brightness control
Answer:	The radio is decent. The sound quality is that of just about any alarm clock out there. What is good about the radio, therefore adding quality to the sound, is that one can tune to the exact frequency and not just to how close one gets to the dial. This is because the radio tuning can be seen on the LED screen. Whats weird is that the tuning is still done with a knob but like I said before having an actual representation on the LED of how close one gets to the frequency is really useful for improving sound quality. I use NPR for my station when getting up in the morning and because I was able to tune almost to the exact frequency I get a very good reception. Hope this helps, cheers.
