Answer:	We use these 5 days a week for about 30 minutes a day. Cushions rarely come off for a 3 and 6 year old but we did loose one cushion. That kid gets a folded peice of paper towel to use as a cushion now and does not complain much.

Answer:	In the manual you should be able to look (or even google) and see if IR would work but I’m pretty sure that if they are wireless, IR would work.

Answer:	I left the two frequency bands that these headphones operate on in the reviews / past questions answered. Not sure if 2018 uses one of those frequencies. If seller allows ez returns try em out. They are a good product compared to the factory units. They have headphone jacks so they can also be used on other wired electronic devices as well as wirelessly in the truck.

Answer:	Sorry, as far as we know, the 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite uses car factory customized IR frequency, it is not compatible with universal IR headphones in the market, you may need the original ones. Or, if the IR function of your DVD can be turned off, you can install an IR transmitter with universal IR frequency, and then you can use universal IR headphones.
Question:	Do these work in a 2021 honda pilot elite? tia
Answer:	Sorry, as far as we know, the 2021 Honda pilot elite uses car factory customized IR frequency, it is not compatible with universal IR headphones in the market, you may need the original ones. If you have a dual source system (2 screens watching different programs) you will need one of your headphones to be a DUAL source headphone. The IH-09AB model has a A/B switch that can be specifically connected to one system. If your video system is true dual source you will have an option to set each screen to A or B source, then match the corresponding headphone.

Answer:	honestly, not sure, they did not work for me so i returned them. if this one says 40db i would assume that means that the static on this one is louder than on the $37 pair

Answer:	It includes a receiver which also functions as a charger for the rechargeable batteries in the head set. This set functions well and the sound quality is acceptable. However it is an inferior made product. The elastic in the head band head band did not last too long and finally snapped. I jerry rigged it with rubber bands but that only held up for about a month. The earpieces are too loose and sometimes just fall off when you remove them from your head. Do not walk out of range of the receiver while wearing these, the noise created is extremely load. To sum up, spend a little more and buy a set with good reviews and one that transmits the signal through walls; this way you can leave the room without losing the audio. Good luck!

Answer:	Yes, it can amplify the sound but the great part is that it delivers the sound directly to the ears. Others could listen at a normal level. This one uses infrared which seems to give a clearer sound than the wireless one we had before which was like a cordless phone. However, you must have line of sight to the transmitter.
