But since Frog past comes in a tub, just apply with an acid brush or cotton swab. But otherwise Hoppe's #9 grease can be applied and squeeze out like tooth paste, which easier to apply. |

| Answer: | Joseph, I own this knife. It's a nice thick sturdy blade with a double lock. I use it as my go to camping beater knife. It's thick, solid, and I don't much care if I abuse it much. I carved a walking stick for my daughter at camp with it. I don't think it has washers on the blade pivot but it has a double lock. Not sure on the liners, full length but likely no idea on whether they are stamped or solid forged. Coast makes high quality stuff though. If you're looking for a solid beater camping knife, this is great. If you're looking for a survival tool that you can take a hammer to split wood with, I recommend a Ka bar bk2 which I own and think is overkill unless the zombie apocalypse hits. Love the bk2 but only Rambo can carry that thing.Specs say the width is .12" thick whic is about right. It's a really nice sturdy blade out Eastern US. For camping, it's great. I'd feel fine field dressing deer, goat, pig with this. It's a knife, not an axe. As a knife, it excels. I use it mostly to cut cord and whittle wood at camp. Perfect for that. |
