Answer:	I don’t think they do.. I think what happens is the reception goes in and out when the battery is low. I love mine, battery last at least 3 weeks but I normally use mine for about an hour or so.

Question:	Do these make that stethoscope sound when you hit the wires? I know the over ear ones don't
Answer:	They do. Not as much as some other in-ears I have tried, but for example more than the Bose SoundSport in ears that I have. I still prefer them to the over ear QC15/25 because they are so compact and I can sleep with them in a plane. The over ear ones will transmit sound if you lean on them when trying to sleep in a plane. I find the "stethoscope sound" to not be an issue in everyday use.

Answer:	Unless you are blasting them at full volume, which would make it awfully hard to sleep, not at all. I also feared disturbing my wife. She never hears them. Not even if they come off my head...nor can I. By the way, the volume level is substantial. I seriously could not sleep with them higher than 5 (half of maximum level).
