A: This is a TV feature and its availability depends on your TV make and model.

For many models of TV, the built-in speakers might not work if you choose to use an external speaker. They will either automatically mute when you plug something into an audio output port (AUX, RCA, Optical, etc.) or they become disabled once you choose "External Speakers" as your TV's audio output. Some newer TVs however, allow you to play audio from both the TV's internal speakers and an external audio device simultaneously. For example the newer LG TVs with WebOS versions 3.0 and 3.5 have this feature but Samsung TVs still do not. Answer:	As mentioned by Patozon, the trick is to make sure you charge the headphones using a 5V 1A adapter. If you happen to have an iPhone adapter, those are perfect. That will take the least amount of time to fully charge. I think mine charges in only 2.5 hours. It says that when u have wired connection you have unlimited listen time, which must mean it is just working off the sound provided to it by what ever device you are listening to. Unlike beats that still use the battery to power the speakers and volume even when wired.

Answer:	I had connected these to two different iPads at one point. Only one iPad was in use at a time, but the other was often nearby. I would sometimes get messages "phone 1 connected, phone 2 connected, phone 1 disconnected, phone 2 disconnected, phone 2 connected". So it would connect and disconnect periodically, during use. However, if I unpaired one of the iPads so it was only connected to 1, then it never disconnected/reconnected in the middle of use anymore. So I just use it with one device. It's probably OK if the two devices are not too near each other.

Answer:	As stated in my review, the first pair of batteries that came with the unit, lasted 4 1/2 years. The little button on the bottom is a 3 channel position slide switch. Depends on the location you place the unit (transceiver) determines the best channel. You will need to try each of the channels for the best reception. Does this answer help you?
Question:	Do you have to turn the headphone on manually like the old models(RS 170, RS 180)? Or does it turn itself on automatically when you pick it up from the charger
Answer:	In this order: Connect the headphone base to wall power, but not to the TV. Hang the headset on the base and make sure it's charging (red light will be on). Allow headset to fully charge (a few hours). While the headphone jack is still not connected to the TV: Turn on the TV and turn it up loudly enough that you can hear it. Connect the wire from the headphone base to the TV. Make sure your 3.5 mm connector is plugged all the way into the socket (sometimes people don't push them in far enough). The TV speakers should be muted now. Check to make sure you have a green light on the headphone base, meaning that it is getting an audio signal. Turn on the headphones. You may just hear static, or you may hear distorted TV sound. Turn the fine tuning adjustment on the head phones until you have good audio from the headphones.

Answer:	Our Toshiba TV has on-screen settings menus that allow cutting off the speakers while leaving the audio jacks active. But there are a few menu steps, which gets to be a nuisance when executed 5 - 10 times in an hour. So instead I plug the RS120 base transmitter into the Directv satellite receiver., which allows use of the headset with the TV speakers muted -- or even with the TV turned off. (One tiny issue with that arrangement: the receiver audio and the TV audio are not perfectly synchronized, so if you elect to use the headset while the TV speakers are on, you get an echo effect.)

Answer:	At least 16 hours, sometimes longer. Assuming 8 hours asleep if left on cradle they will never lose charge. And if you forget to place them on the magnetic cradle overnight, just open the earmuff and put a couple good AA batteries in there (you could use alkaline or regular NiMH recharable). If you put in NiMH rechargeable batteries, then the magnetic stand will charge them as perfectly as the AA batteries that ship with the headphones. If you use alkaline AA, they work perfectly too but don't recharge and might overheat if you try to recharge them.
