Answer:	A small, cheap usb DAC adapter probably won't work well for these. They need a bit of power to drive them properly. Power supplied solely from a PC USB port probably won't be enough (500mA max for USB 2.0 and 900mA max for USB 3.0). You will get much better results from an external audio interface and/or a headphone amp.
Question:	comfort
Answer:	They are very comfortable for the first hour or so. I sometimes wear my glasses rather than my contact lenses while using these headphones, and have found that with glasses the comfortable period is much shorter due to pressure on the wire earpieces. The The coiled cable is fairly long, and if you move around in a chair while using these with a laptop, the cable will eventually snare you. The cable connects to the left earphone, and if your earphone connector is on the right side of your computer, receiver, TV or whatever, that means the cable has to be draped across the front of your body. You could reverse the phones on your head, but that would put the left channel into your right ear and vice versa. There's probably a way to reverse channels to correct this.
Question:	How is noise leakage out of these headphones? I am interested in using them for vocal recording so mix leaking out is a no-no
Answer:	Even with loud volumes, the leakage is generally non-existent. The volume needs to be uncomfortably loud for me to start hearing a very slight sound leak.

Answer:	I love these headphones for listening to music as well as TV. I had a pair of MDR-V6 phones I bought from Tower Records in Nashville years and years ago in the early 90s that just died after almost 30 years of service, and these are very very similar. These don't have quite the bass that the V6s did, and the highs are a little brighter, but that will be in my best interest if they last me 20+ years like the V6s did! There's a reason the MDR7506s became an industry standard soon after they were released by Sony in 1991 and it's not because they're bad to listen to. If you want to listen to your music the way the engineers and artists probably heard it in production, grab a pair of these. Hit YouTube and watch the in-studio recordings of Sting's Ten Summoner's Tales songs and look at the headphones everybody is wearing. Everybody. Mix of both MDR-V6 and MDR7506, the MDR-V6s having been released six years earlier in 1986. All the way up to current times like the video for "Times Like These" with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Ellie Goulding and all those other artists that was released a few weeks ago had a couple of people wearing them. That's longevity. I found that they are more comfortable with the aftermarket lambskin leather earpads that you can find for around $20. They aren't super easy to put on, but are very comfortable. I love the headphones for listening to music as well as television when I don't want to keep people up at night.

Question:	So can I use these with both my Kindle Fire and my laptop computer
Answer:	It depends on your frames. With my normal frames, which have rounded temples that bow out slightly, they can be a bit uncomfortable, but with my sunglasses (with a flatter, lower-contour temple) they are fine. Since I use these mostly out of doors, the sunglasses are my primary choice. For me, they work well.
Question:	justy fyi, when I received these headphones they were a darker shade of blue versus what the picture shows. Did anyone else have this issue

Answer:	Yes their standard hue appears to be dark blue ....maybe it adds color to the sound??

Answer:	comfortable. Not big and bulky. In fact I fall asleep with them on!!

Answer:	They work fine with glasses. Your ear fits between the earcup and the band and, in my case, the temple of my glasses fit *inside* the frame of the headphones between it and my head. I find them to be pretty comfortable overall, though they will start to hurt i you wear them for extremely extended periods of time (well over eight hours).
