Answer:	I read a review where it's claimed that the QC 35 Series II maximum noise reduction is rated at 20.8 dB. The Series I is rated to reduce by 25.2 dB. Note that dB ratings are not linear: every 3 dB difference is twice (or half) the subjective volume. That means that 93 dB is twice as loud as 90 dB

Question:	Is it as easy to switch between devices as the QC
Answer:	You do not need to switch. I think people are trying to use these like the 35 headphones. Which is why the are getting frustrated. Unlike those, you are not forced to switch between devices. It will automatically remember the last 8 devices you paired with. And if the device you want to pair with is set up to connect with it, it will do so automatically. It even will stay connected with two devices at the same time. These are much “smarter” technology than the 35.
Question:	Can these connecto to a pc at call center? to be used with voip
Answer:	It will work, but probably not well. They have a problem that keeps them from working reliably on Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing software when connected to Windows PCs or Macs. There is supposed to be a firmware update to fix this, but the first one that came out (1.4) caused worse problems, so they recalled it, and they have only promised a new version (1.5) but I haven't been able to actually find it anywhere as of Sept 13, 2020. Bose support is worse than useless. I'm giving up and returning them.
Question:	Are these going to be better than the QC
Answer:	I found these to sound better. It may be because the Noise Reduction is slightly better. I have the QC35's and the Sony wh-1000xm3's. I find the Bose 700's to be superior to both even if you consider the sound quality of these to be equal due to the other features. The multipoint bluetooth makes them more attractive than the Sony's. The passthrough is simply amazing. With the headphones on it sounds as if you're not wearing headphones. I no longer use any other headphones. If it's not raining I'll even take them outside because I can hear safely. I just received the Echo Buds and love them. They are my backup when it's raining (I live in Seattle).

Answer:	I have an earlier Bose version, where the ear phone is mounted on a very sophisticated ear bud that seats perfectly in the antihelix of the pinna (outer ear), thereby gently resting in the ear canal itself. That is a MAJOR design advantage, not only in comfort, but also in safety, in that by avoiding pressure against the skin of the ear canal, the chance for discomfort / infection / inflammation is vastly reduced. There is nothing else like the old design on the market. I would only purchase the new model with the assurance that it faithfully incorporated the revolutionary advantages of the 4 older models I have purchased and given as gifts.
Question:	Just how water/sweat resistant are they in use
Answer:	I've had these 7 months and have LOVED them. But... I just ran a little over 2 hrs in constant light drizzle and they stopped working a little over halfway through. I thought they were dead... but ever hopeful I let them dry thoroughly then plugged them in to charge. About 15 min later I was able to turn them on and it talked to me as usual... "battery 40%, connected to..." I left them charging but when I came back to check on progress an hour or so later, all lights were out and I can't turn it on. Will see if Bose will replace. Bottom line: great in dry weather, very sketchy when damp or wet!

Answer:	My experience is a definite “sometimes.” Technically it can pair with two devices at a time and switch between them when you start using the other device. However, if you ever pair to more than two devices it will randomly switch to the wrong one after a few hours of disuse. For some reason it keeps connecting to a couple things I haven’t used for a year instead of the devices I am currently using. And it can take longer than ten minutes of fussing to get it connected. It was so bad I bought some Beats headphones to have something workable. PS Beats Solo Pro and AirPods Pro consistently and quickly switch and have good noise cancelation and sound. Not as comfortable though.
Question:	If the battery is completely dead, can you still use the wired mode like you can for QC
Answer:	I have a different experience. If the battery is COMPLETELY dead (like I left them on over night) I cannot use the cable connection at all.

Answer:	I own a pair of QC15s and a pair of QC25s. I bought the latter because I did not think I needed the wireless feature for another $50. That said, I now have a phone (iPhone 7) that requires an extra cable just to plug in headphones (annoying!). So I too was about to purchase the Bose QC35s until I read this thread. What happened to being environmentally friendly? I replaced the ear pads on the QC15s and now my child uses them. Why require your customers to throw away their perfectly good headphones? Has Bose designed the rest of the electronics to also only last the estimated life of the battery as well? Is this a cost saving, shaving disposable razor model stradegy Bose? As with others here, I am very thankful for this thread. Dissapointed in Bose.

Question:	Do these make that stethoscope sound when you hit the wires? I know the over ear ones don't
Answer:	They do. Not as much as some other in-ears I have tried, but for example more than the Bose SoundSport in ears that I have. I still prefer them to the over ear QC15/25 because they are so compact and I can sleep with them in a plane. The over ear ones will transmit sound if you lean on them when trying to sleep in a plane. I find the "stethoscope sound" to not be an issue in everyday use.

Answer:	Nearly all Bose products are designed in Massachusetts. Production is in South Carolina or Mexico for US sales.
Question:	Can you use just the right ear bud without the left
Answer:	Yes. Whether you want to or not. The left frequently cuts out on you. If you love listening to your music out of just one ear bud with asecond delay between audio and video, these are the head phones for you. If you expect your $249 head phones to have the minimum functions of a $10 pair of Dollar General headphones, move on. The headphones are purely for elitist looking for the name Bose without a care for actual performance.
Question:	do they have a microphone
Answer:	To answer the question, yes there is a microphone. To give better context to the quality of it I'll say that, as a truck driver who has used many different headsets and earbuds, these have been the best. Most others have been unusable while driving but these have been noted by those I've talked to on the phone to be very clear. The only complaint I have is their wind noise reduction is non-existent and they're basically unusable in environments that have unexpected noises. So it would seem their ability to cancel out droning is top notch, but inconsistent noises throw them for a loop.
