Answer:	The Etymotic Research ER4XR are in-ear monitors whereas the Sony 7506 are over the ear headphones. The Etymotic are excellent at sound reproduction and cancellation of outside noise so they are great for mixing, I would venture to say more so the Sony 7506. Downside of the ER4XR is the insertion and extraction into your ear. The Sony MDR-7506 have been around for quite some time and they have stood the test of time; great headphone for home use; whereas the ER4XR is geared more to professional use as reflected in the price of each product.

Changing the Filters

Answer:	I frequently use these for phone calls. On this same product page, when you look at all the color options, you'll also notice that there is a version with a mic and one without. Obviously, the one with the mic will work fine for calls, but at least on an iPhone, the one without a mic can also work -- I can't say this with certainty, but I think when you plug in non-mic earbuds, the phone activates the same built-in mic it uses when you talk on speakerphone.

Answer:	I use my (hybrid road) bike daily with these on, cycling 10 to 17 miles per day. They work well for me, and stay on. You can change the rubber end to find the best ear fit. My wife keeps on borrowing mine. So I bought two more, one for her, and another as extra. These are very good earbuds for the price.

Answer:	Seriously? In this price-range do you really expect to slay anything larger and more fierce than a human infant? For the purposes of taking down a dragon, I'd go with the magnum of earbuds, the SHURE KSE1500. If that's out of your reach, maybe try the Sennheiser HD800 S. But no matter which weapon you choose, it's nothing without the proper ammunition. So be sure to stock your arsenal with the right ammo. I'm talkin' bout cartridges of wadcutters like Justin Bieber, Creed and Nickleback, and hollow-points like Insane Clown Posse and One Direction. Answer:	For me yes. Got mine Oct 2017. Its now Aug 2019 and they still work. Problem is the left side foam ear piece is coming undone. This is wearing them outside in all sorts of weather 40 minutes or so to and from work. The longest pair of headphones I ever had lasted this long including Beats Solo and Solo 2 I had. I don't wear them working out getting sweat all over them.
