Answer:	Although this does not have an IP (Ingress Protection) rating, the earbuds could have a P2i coat or nanocoat that can protect against sweat, Sony is known for making products that aren't supposedly water/sweat resistant but have been able to stand sweat or water just fine. Another thing to possibly subdue any worries is that airpods do not have any water or sweat resistance either, but a lot of people work out in them and they survive just fine. Same with the last generation TW earbuds from sony, the WF-1000X, they were not water or sweat resistant at all either, but a lot of owners would exercise in them and there would be no problems. So no, sweating lightly or non-intensive workouts wont damage the buds. If you do want earbuds similar to these but want an IP rating on them, there are the WF-SP700N. They have noise cancelling too, but there are quite a few downsides with them.

There was a $10 price difference and Amazon graciously refunded the $10 as I chose to keep these since they no longer carried the noise cancelling. However, I fly frequently and I find these to be quite sufficient in letting me be alone and not mixed in the noise of crying babies, and chatty people. I use mine all the time. Great for music, audio books, phone calls, I just love mine. Plus you just can't go wrong with Amazons excellent customer service.
