Answer:	There is NO mic on these headphones, built-in or otherwise. Since I do not use these headphones with my phone, I can not say IF the volume control works on them either. When I have these plugged-in to my TV/computer monitor, I use a "mini pre-amp" to control the volume. Hope this helps...

Answer:	First order these headphones not knowing much about them. After I receive them I found it I really really like them. Not only did they sound great, but they were very comfortable in my ear when lying in bed. This is the main reason that I bought two more sets.
