Question:	What size and type sim card do you use
Answer:	I do not use a SIM card in it. I am not sure if it will even take a SIM card. It gets live data from a free app I down loaded to my IPhone. My IPhone will sync with it Bluetooth if I want to use the Garmim as a hands free phone while driving. As for map updates that is also free using wifi to my phone and app. I hope this helps. I have owned many GPS’s since you could first buy them and this is the best one to date for driving.
Question:	How much does it cost to update maps
Answer:	Map updates are included so nothing.
Question:	To keep the unit powered up do you need to plug into the Unit itself or into the magnetic power mount
Answer:	I have mine set up so the power runs to the magnetic power mount. This allows me to snap the GPS navigator on and off the magnetic mount, which makes it easier to still away when I’m not using it.

Question:	Do you update from the Garmin app and is there a charge
Answer:	Yes, it updates from the app. I’ve had no problem with that. No charge but I don’t k ow if that is for a limited time or I definite. I’ve had mine ~16 months, last updated 8 weeks ago. Btw, to keep it charged over 3 hours, use plugged in and screen brightness about 60%.
Question:	Can dash cam be mounted on dash or does the mount only allow you to mount on that hot windshield
Answer:	I believe it is only suction mount but may be able to suction mount in places other than windshield. Any smooth area on dash should do.
Question:	How long does the extended warranty last? Standard is 1 year. Does that mean this is warranteed for 2 years
Answer:	1-Year Extended Warranty on top of Manufacturers Warranty
