Answer:	Good Compass but not great Hold down on one of the buttons and the watch face becomes a compass. It shows the degrees (0-360) and the general direction (SE for example). You would not use this watch to plot a course on a map. For that, you can buy a compass for less than $20 that lie flat on a map, can be adjusted for a magnetic correction, they have lines, etc.

Answer:	Polar Flow app is pretty awesome with great metrics. The only beef I have with it is you can’t edit workouts. Love the app overall though, especially since it breaks down how your body performed during your workout. It tracks how much fat, carbs and protein you burned so you know what your body needs to have replenished.

Answer:	No, polar hrm does not work with mine.
Question:	Does the wrist hrm work for swimming or do you have to use the chest hrm
Answer:	The wrist HR sensors do not work well when submerged in water. By not well I mean, mostly not at all and sometimes but very inaccurate. You must have a chest strap to get an accurate reading. If you do most or all of your swimming in a pool, get the Garmin HRM swim. If you're happy with the results of the wrist based HRM for other activities (run, bike, exercise...) the Garmin Swim is your best option. If you require more accurate consistent data all around get the Garmin TRI. Wrist based HR technology is fine for most of what I do but no one, as of yet, has made an accurate wrist based HR monitor for swimming.
Question:	If the f3 has built in hr, why buy the hr strap
Answer:	The strap will give you a more accurate readout. The one on the F3 is pretty darn accrate when it's tight. If your a hardcore athlete then spend the extra money for the monitor.

Answer:	Certainly, it shows the time all the time and only displays notifications if you have them turned on. If notifications are not on, it is a watch with functions much the same as the casino pathfinder.

I have an eTrex 30 and it is the best GPS I've ever owned. I have the mini United States, Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean maps card installed. It shows even the private driveways out in the country side. The vehicle mounts that work on the 20 & 30 won't work on the 10. The type that slides on the back of the unit.
