Answer:	The watch has a Exercise section that has running, weight lifting Biking, treadmill, Elliptical. workout. You can tap on the one you want without having the phone with you. I don't even own a phone. I use a table but I just did a walk outside and it detected my 10,000+ steps and recorded the miles. It may be more accurate with the phone. I used windows Tablet and/or Windows10 with GPS and they both sync with when I got back and it said the same amount of steps as on my watch. I think it is pretty close anyway. You can see everything on the watch. That is why I like it a lot. I didn't think I would be able to see anything except heart rate and steps.

Answer:	There is a music control option (either swipe down from the top of the main screen, or use the top right button on the edge of the watch casing). I have not used it yet. You get notifications such as texts & calendar alert and phone calls by a buzz on the watch. Texts are displayed as soon as I get them on my phone. Simple swipe from the bottom of the screen up lets you review them. You can then simply swipe right to dismiss them or scroll down through all of them to a "clear all" option.

Answer:	"My Blaze is 2 DAYS AT THE MOST" This is my 4th Fitbit watch over the past 4 years and this Blaze is the worst ever on the battery life. Because of this, this will be my last Fitbit. Answer:	I have a 38mm apple watch and the blaze. The screen of the apple watch is the same size as the blaze if you turned the apple watch display sideways. The case of the blaze (it fits into the band) is a bigger overall footprint than the Apple Watch. That said, the Blaze is much more flush with your arm and doesn't stick out and feel bulky like the Apple Watch. Bigger footprint, but lighter and less noticeable when wearing if that helps.

Answer:	You can only have one type of fitbit synced at a time. So if you have a fitbit HR and buy any other kind you can have them both working interchangeably. But if you own an Fitbit HR and purchase another, or the Fitbit Charge that's not an HR and a second one that is the Fitbit Charge but not the HR you have to replace them/reinstall them to switch Fitbits. If they aren't the same kind you can sync one and effortlessly switch to wearing one of the other types.

Answer:	Yes, I wear it as a watch that normally displays time, date and battery life. Then I can toggle thru other displays when I want to see heart rate, steps, weather, calendar, workout, or any of the other features.
Question:	Does the GPS work if it's covered by a jacket or long sleeved shirt
Answer:	I purchased this for my wife so I do not use it however I am a surveyor so I do have vast experience with GPS. GPS signals will not be hindered by thin materials such as cloth. Inside buildings with wood and shingle roofs will throw the location of a bit reducing the accuracy. GPS signals simply do not penetrate metal objects. That being said you should not experience any loss of signal or accuracy using typical clothing items. You may experience some issues if the device was covered with something metallic such as those solar blankets. Perhaps a good experiment to ease your mind is use your cell phone's GPS tucked into your sleeve as the technology is nearly identical in all small consumer products.

Answer:	Yes, it is...I looked at the manual and the water rating is actually 5 ATM (atmospheres), not 5 meters. 5 ATM actually equates to about 50 meters deep, so technically you could swim or shower with this watch just fine. Answer:	Primarily by its part number: APAC: Garmin part 010-01746-16 ROW: Garmin part 010-01746-00 APAC is the Asian version, and ROW is "Rest Of World". Functionally, there isnt much of a difference that you would know about. The APAC (Asian version) lags behind a month to several months for software version updates, but it does catch up eventually. The primary difference according to forums on the subject is language availability. That being said, I have not yet read where anyone having an Asian model could not do everything functionally that everyone else could do, including uploading data to Garmin Connect and usage of the site. Question:	If it has the wrist heart rate monitor why do we need to buy the heart rate straps
Answer:	The wrist monitor doesn't work in the water, which is why you'd want the SWIM band. Also, it isn't quite as accurate as a strap, which is what the regular TRI band is for. It also gives you running metrics that just the watch doesn't give you - that said, if you don't want a strap and want the metrics, there is a RD pod product from Garmin you can just clip onto your shorts. Personally, just the watch and the built in monitor are fine for me, as I use this watch primarily for running and biking.
Question:	Is this the apac (asia pacific) version or the row (rest of world) version
Answer:	I received mine on 25 March and it's the ROW version. I went with the default "fulfilled by Amazon" via one-day prime delivery. Not sure who the original seller was.

Question:	How reliable is the Verizon Connected series when you do not have your phone on you? I have not been able to find any reviews on this specific one
Answer:	I don't know about the band size, but the diameter of the cases on most all Expeditions is 40mm....That's too large. It looks like an alarm clock on your arm...I returned the one I bought. Having said that, I would like to have one with a case diameter not exceeding 35mm.

Answer:	I think the band is OK for occasional moisture such as rain, would not wear it the shower or say canoing or kayaking. It has a synthetic suede like backing that absorbs water and takes awhile to dry, especially while worn. I would be OK immersing the watch in water such as swimming ( not diving) but would swap out the exisitng band for a nylon one for those activities. Band looks nice though and is comfortable ( so long as it is not wet)

Answer:	In December 2020 this listing included models where the the crown is inset into the bezel for protection (40mm) and models where the crown is unprotected (37mm). In 1944 the standard military field watch was 35mm to 37mm but today 37mm is considered a small watch for women. Some of the most expensive reproductions of WWII watched are also 36mm or 37mm.

Answer:	I love this watch. It does not have a barometer for altitude, but the GPS / Garmin connect figures the altitude from the maps (and from GPS until it looks at the maps). Fine if you're not counting stairs or mountain-biking seriously needing a barometer. Note, there are 2 versions, amazon lists it as one product, for example (Aqua-Music) 010-02120-22 is the ROW (rest-of-world) version and 010-02120-52 is the APAC (Asian-Pacific) version. The firmware releases are different !!! Not to mention the available languages. The suppliers ARE sending the APAC version without any way to tell (in Amazon) that that might happen. I love the watch. I did send back the APAC one that Amazon sent because I wanted to use beta firmware and order (for a higher price) from REI to get one that I know will be ROW. But for most people, probably they won't care, both have English and the same features...
Question:	I see reviews mentioning asian version of the watch, which they mention is inferior. how can i make sure i get the us one/standard one
Answer:	Not easily. Amazon fulfills it with third parties. There are (aqua-music) two product IDs: -22 and -52 for the ROW and APAC versions. Amazon is _LISTING_ the NON-Asian product ID - so you could keep ordering until they send you what they listed!!! What I did is once I realized I had an Asian one, I sent it back and ordered from REI. You can see a Product ID in the listing, it is the Rest-Of-World product ID. The difference that hit me is that the firmware isn't compatible - I didn't care about the languages, they both have English, but I wanted to install the 3.52 beta firmware - which is ROW only. :(

Answer:	The Stainless Steel band does come with the frame. The leather and stainless bands are either $99.99 or $129.99. For $29.95, I don't believe the frame is included. I looked at the Blaze manual on FitBit and saw instructions for how to remove the band from the frame for a replacement band.
