First the Tracking unit receives a GPS signal from the sky, this signal can go through plastics, fabrics, under a car seat, in the glove compartment, even under a car. Testing your tracker is the best way to find out where it will work best for you.



Next, a second signal is sent from The Tracking unit to our servers; using Cellular Phone Company networks for real time tracking. Answer:	If the tracker can’t locate 4G service in a particular area, it will try to fall back to 2G if that is available. 4G coverage is extremely widespread in the United States though. Also, keep in mind, that the tracker uses GPS satellites to know its location, not the cell towers. If it can’t communicate with our servers, because of coverage issues, it will keep tracking its location and as soon as it finds itself with service it will send all the queued locations. If it were to happen, you will have an accurate timeline up to that point and the device will auto update as soon as they leave the dead zone. This will also give up an up to the minute timeline of where to start looking in case the situation requires that.

Question:	How long does the battery last per charge
Answer:	Typically the battery last about 2 months per charge. However, the longevity of the charge depends on the movement of the vehicle. For instance, if the vehicle is moving frequently the battery may discharge more quickly since it has to update our servers and send data more frequently. If the vehicle only moves a few times a week, the battery will last longer because the device enters sleep mode and it updates our service at a lower frequency. Our GPS tracking service does monitor the battery life for you, you can configure the system to automatically send you an e-mail or text message when the charge is below a certain level. You can also monitor the battery charge yourself as you login to the application. The max amount of time the device can last on a single charge is 240 days, this is based on the unit being in sleep/standby mode. After the initial charge it will take between 8-12 hours to charge an empty battery to 100%.
Question:	Does this have an app
Answer:	Yes! This has an awesome app for iOS devices and the same app for Android devices. Alternatively you can login at tracking.global-view.net and use the desktop experience!

Answer:	Hello, Yes you can. You will just need to remember to cancel before you are billed again. Once you cancel you lose all access to the device, even if you have already pre-paid for a month. So again just make sure you send us an email or cancel yourself on PayPal a day or two before your next scheduled bill date.

Answer:	Hello, The device will blink initially when you turn on the device, it will also blink intermittently. You can cover up the light with black electrical tape if you want to make sure there is no light coming from the device. The sound does not make any noises. Hope that helps!

How It Works:.

First the Tracking unit receives a GPS signal from the sky, this signal can go through plastics, fabrics, under a car seat, in the glove compartment, even under a car. Testing your tracker is the best way to find out where it will work best for you.



Next, a second signal is sent from the tracking unit to our servers; using cellular networks for real time tracking. When no cellular signal is available the Tracking Unit will save the track in its memory until it regains signal. Battery charge can last up to 2 weeks depending on use. You can set a low battery alerts.
