User questions & answers
Question: | How is the antenna normally installed on a center console, just plug in or try to run up vertically |
Answer: | Dear Mr. Clark: I doubt you can but I really don't know for sure, my older Garmin handheld is used to provide GPS to my laptop using Maptech programs, don't always work for even that, The Maptech charts are very good but their just about completely out of business, I ran an off shore program and it pooch screwed the coastal charts, had to delete and re-install all of them? I expect your Excell probably more compatible, the cable usually isn't to expensive, I never can find mine when I want to connect, bought several. Probably worth the risk even if it won't |
Question: | Does this increase FM Radio reception |
Answer: | Many thanks, Dave |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this a small antenna |
Answer: | Yes sure |
Question: | Hi, I wonder if this antenna would also be compatible with alpha 100 gps |
Answer: | Look on the back of your GPS, there should be a turn handle to open the case and above it what sort of looks like a finger sticking in the molded rubber inset, at the top of the finger is a a recess, peel the rubber back and you should see a round access w/ 4 pins in it, the plug in for this adapter cable connects here. Mines a 76 and probably older than yours but I believe it is the cable you need. Hope I was able to help. |
