If you want to change the disc, new disc is on the other side that covered by the sliver cap, please screw off the cap and you will see the disc tip.

Answer:	Hi, I know it works with all applications, but I do not know if it will work on top of the screen saver. Probably yes since the same pencil already comes with a protector.
Question:	How long does it usually take to get used to taking notes/writing with this
Answer:	Really easy, as long as you use it with the app Notability. I import pdf's into Notability at my meetings before lectures and then jot down notes over the pdf's. Works great together!

Answer:	As already stated in previous answers, the Jot Pro is passive, which means it is sensed the same as your finger. Nothing electronically tells the iPad what is your hand and what is the stylus (there are a variety of bluetooth enabled styluses (stylii?) that do, though in my experience their overall accuracy and usability is actually WORSE than the Jot Pro. But the above being understood, most apps do a pretty good job of accommodating the fact that your hand and the stylus are going to be touching the screen at the same time, and you really want the stylus to be what is recognized, so some apps will allocate a portion of the screen where they simply don't accept input, it's usually customizable, and made darker so you know where not to write. Some apps also apply algorithms based on settings where you tell the app how you normally hold a pen, and then when it sees multiple touch points, it can figure out which is likely the stylus and which might be your hand, and from that figure out which to react to and which to ignore. Really, most apps have gotten pretty darn good at stylus detection and using these two techniques provide a really good experience.
