Answer:	S model has a circle hole in the back compared to the A1 with an oval hole. In terms of the logo placement, the S has the logo on the back and the A1 has the logo in the front. The A1 was released on Amazon after the S and is also wider and taller but depth is less. Both weigh the same. The front pieces you'll see cover up more of the iPad compared to the A1.

Answer:	One way to record the video without paying a subscription is to buy a Chromecast. With Chromecast and using the Chrome browser, you can cast the video to your TV and record the live stream directly to a DVD recorder. Answer:	I have 3 Dropcams with CVR service and one without. I do get alerts on all 4, but these security "alerts" can take MORE than AN HOUR after the event. Alerts can also be covered for sound. This would be great where, for example, your smoke detector sounds when you're away. If you got the notice immediately, then you could call the fire department and tell them your house is on fire. But with a delay of up to an hour, your house will be in ruins by the time you get your helpful alert.When I originally got Dropcams, the alerts were instant. They unilaterally decided that fewer alerts were better, so they changed their system without giving users any other option. Since everything goes through their servers, there is nothing you can do about it. Luckily, they are owned by Google, so when the inevitable lawsuits target them for false promises of immediate alerts, there will be some very deep pockets.

Answer:	Based on the specs, iPad Air width is 6.6 inches and the expandable bracket maximum length for this holder is 7.48 inches. I usually use it with an iPhone 11 Pro Max but I did a test with my daughter's iPad Mini 2 and I was able to install it on the holder by width and by height and there was a lot of room for a bigger device. iPad Mini 2 size: Height 7.9 inches x Width 5.30 inches. It should perfectly fit an iPad Air.

Answer:	It's far from perfect in that regard. I use it with a 10" Fire Tablet. There's no much more tightening of the joints that I can do to make is stiffer. As expected, when the tablet's center of gravity is too far forward, say about 3 or 4 more inches than shown in the illustration at left (assuming you see what I see), it will start to move down. Moving it back so that the tablet is just over the mounting clamp, results in a more stable position. You can rotate it for portrait or landscape mode, but to do that, you really need to loosen, rotate, and then retighten. I think this can be easily returned if it doesn't work out, but check that first.
