Answer:	No. You need the new pro keyboard with the charging bay, or a stand-alone USB charging dock.

Answer:	It has many problems with the surface book if you are planning to draw for a while. After using it for a bit, it will turn off the touchscreen.
Question:	Does it still can be held on the side of surface pro with a magnet
Answer:	Surface Pro 7: I'm having trouble with this aspect, it seems that the pen's magnets are spaced too closely together to fit the magnets on the Surface. Either the bottom magnet or the top magnet will snap depending on where you place it, but the other side will almost always fall off or swing freely. I may return this because I don't want the pen to fall off at every touch.
