To answer your question, you need to plug it on before the discharging notification comes on because yes, when plugged on it still says discharging and then cuts off.

Answer:	It is very soft and squishy would say soft to medium density. Have had 5 months and love only complaint is it does sleep on the warm side and I couldn't find a mattress pad that would allow it to still work it's memory foam magic, but the cover over the foam is high quality.

Answer:	No it does not. It's pretty safe and no chemicals. It will have a faint smell when you first unpacked it but it goes away in a few hours you air it out. Its normal because the product has been seal packed and has not been exposed to air. Bought two toppers for my teenagers, they love, it's still holding up its form.
Question:	Does this come with a printer usb cord
Answer:	Yes, I place a bottom sheet over the topper and that's a personal preference for me. But, if you do order it, you may prefer it without a sheet.
