Answer:	Yes, it has a SD card slot. As stated by others you don't want it to be formatted in the FAT32 format. It should be formatted in the exFAT format. That will allow it to store files larger than the 4 GB limited by FAT32. The manufacture of the card should have formatted it as exFAT.

New screen 1920x1200 high resolution, new CPU running at 2Ghz with 2Gb memory making it much faster, Sd Card up to 512GB, USB C fast charge, Dolby Digital Stereo which is not only loud and clear, it sounds awesome. You can look up my review of the new Amazon Kindle 10 HD, which talks more deeply about the difference between new and previous version. There are YouTube videos that show you how to get the play store on the kindle, it's an easy process that takes maybe 5-15 minutes.
