Answer:	The screen does not touch the keypad. However, if you accidentally sat on the ipad, or compressed it in some way, there could be the potential for some damage. I erred on the side of caution and bought a screen protector just as additional insurance - I am a fairly active person and not the greatest at tlc for my devices.

Answer:	There is a key on the right side of space key to turn on the backlight and adjust the brightness of backlight. The right side of this key can change the color of backlight. There are 7 colors. I love it!

Answer:	I’m not having any problem charging. I usually charge at night and then it lasts all day with quite a bit of use. I still have 73% at 10:00 pm. Of course my previous iPad was one of the first one built so this one is magical! I hope that helps
