Answer:	Mine doesn’t. Did I get a lemon? I had the same case but different color and that one put the iPad to sleep went the case was closed.

Answer:	Does not rotate. Allows for many angles in landscape. Stays secure in ridges, even on my lap. I just fold cover behind iPad to use in portrait position. Less bulky than covers that rotate.

Answer:	If you cut out and remove the two foam strips/padding in the back, it will fit perfectly. However, it will not fit otherwise. Definitely worth it. Best iPad case I've ever owned. I like this version better than the new 2017 version because it has the speaker scoops that direct sound towards the user (I also personally like the leather look/feel). The new 2017 version doesn’t have the speaker scoops or leather.

Answer:	No, it doesn't. Also don't waste your money on it. Get a kabob skewer from Walmart, stick that in dirt, wait several minutes. It'll turn dark because the wooden stick gets wet. Easiest way to tell if you have to water your plants or not without touching. Eventually you'll get used to it and can tell by just looking at the dirt if you're an avid indoor/gardener that uses pots.

Answer:	On my unit the sensor protrudes from what I would call the bottom, the larger side that would easily lay flat. One screw (Phillips) removes access to battery. There is a keyhole slot on the back of the main unit to hang it, which I utilized.
