It molds well - has enough padding for absorbing contact - and most importantly I can breathe and talk while wearing it. I forget I have it in. When they stopped selling them in local sports stores and only sold bulkier Shock Doctor mouthguards, I bought 5 of these on Amazon. Can't recommend this mouthguard strongly enough...

Answer:	Yes, I bought this for my 4 yr old daughter. It was too big and we cut it to size with no problem. I cut it it before boiling it and smoothed out the rough edges. My daughter says it very comfortable and hasn't had any problems keeping it in her.

Answer:	In answer to your question, the answer is "No". Our "Cushion" sports mouth guard is not recommended to be worn with fixed orthodontic braces. Sorry.
