Answer:	The scale records every measurement into its database with a timestamp. The app/website will not isolate out ONLY the first weight of day or the last weight of the day but if you really need that data, there is a method of downloading the raw data into a format you can open with a spreadsheet program. Once it is in a spreadsheet, as long as you know how to manipulate data, you can create your own view of the existing raw data. If you don't know how, there are many tutorials on different tasks for this on the Internet.

Answer:	I paid for the product. I liked the scale until it suddenly died. Checked Withings support pages, and discovered this was a fairly common problem anywhere from 3 months to a couple of years. After the one-year warranty Withings support will usually offer a 25% discount on a new scale, which didn't leave any of the posters happy. A couple managed to fix theirs by opening it up and soldering in a new telephone battery they picked up on ebay. Given that the Withings Body and body+ models use 4 AAA batteries that they say last up to 2 years, those models seem to be less risky than the USB cable charged battery in the body cardio. Especially if you only need weight, bmi and weather.

Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "stand alone broadcast station", but it must connect to your router and then it extends your signal. The way it does this is by adding what looks like a second router to your network. So if your router is named router1, it recommends naming this router1_ext. In the part of your house that did not have a signal (where you placed this), you would connect to router1_ext as if you were connecting to another router. It works very well by the way. Signal and speeds are great.

Answer:	I do not know if it switches seamlessly like a phone cell would. I assign my wifi for the area I am working in but I do not move about between areas that much. It has better coverage than my ATT supplied router though. After it was installed I had 3 networks to choose from: the original one, the 2.5 gig new one and the 5 gig new one all using the same password. I imagine that mobile usage would be able to switch as one moves about just like when you move about between known networks.

You can purchase a much cheaper Linksys WiFi range extender n600 pro and set it up halfway from your router and the "dead zone." This not only works perfectly with my Fios router, it allowed me to get WiFi to my back yard, three flights down and through a brick wall when I could not get a decent signal in my MUCH closer bedroom/bathroom. Also a pinch to set up, using any smart phone or tablet.

Answer:	I think it may improve your "download" speed to that distant laptop. As you move your laptop further way from your wireless router, the speed that it negotiates drops. I have exactly that situation with a new DSL modem/router. The speed at the laptop is sometimes as low as 1Mbps, but bring it in close it increases to as much as 70Mbps. Of course, the range extender will NOT increase the download speed from your ISP to your router.

Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
