Answer:	You can mount this antenna on a boat but it does not mount in a standard "marine mount" fixture - you would have to screw it to the hull or mount it on a rail etc. Be sure to weatherseal the coax connection at the bottom of the antenna. You can connect this antenna to an existing hotspot with the right adapter cables and it will improve reception of cellular signals for the hotspot. Keep the cabling as short as possible.

Answer:	Yes as long as you have the correct coax cabling between the relay and the antenna. Check what type of external antenna connector is on your GSM device.
