Mobile devices I think open up that setup page for you via their browser, a laptop would have to be pointed at it. Answer:	I can't say for certain, but I know that it won't work with Android TV's which are similar. It's not the wifi card's fault, rather I find that 10 times out of 10 it's the TV/device is not capable of supporting an external adapter. This is the case with even the nVidia Shield TV. If you're looking to extend your range, I found the Xiaomi USB WiFi adapter is a very good bang for the buck. It's around $12 and works so well I own 3 of them, likely buying another soon as they keep getting adopted by friends and family.

Answer:	Although the range is exceptional, it really comes down to how you plan on using it. If you're talking going out in the middle of nowhere, no. I know a guy that lives out of his van (by choice, not circumstance). I set him up with an older card and a laptop and he's able to grab wifi, but he mostly parks in the city.

Answer:	It will work if you install the realtek-rtl88xxau-dkms, then restart and then its best to shut down the interface and set the monitor mode there, so ifconfig wlan0 down && iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor && ifconfig wlan0 upchange the wlan to the one you are using. There was something put in for this in the drivers github but I dont know if its made it upstream yet.Good Luck!
