Answer:	I asked century link specifically by at least 5 personnel if it would work when I increased the speed. They all said it would. And NOW they say that those people told you wrong. It does work with them, but if your area only supports a vdsl transport type for higher speeds than it will not. I use to by on adsl and when I switched speeds the transport type switched too! ugh. so now I have to buy a different modem after I already purchased this one.

Answer:	If by dual-band you mean 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums... NO. This is only 2.4 GHz. However, I have 2 computers, 3 iPods, 2 android phones, an iPad, Xbox, and DVD player all connected and all of which work fine. Only one of those devices even has the ability to take advantage of 5 GHz capability anyway... the iPad. Furthermore, 2.4 GHz often has better signal through walls and floors than 5 GHz.

Answer:	N is just the next wireless standard (IEEE 802.11). Home WiFi routers have progress from A to B, G, and now N corresponding to speeds of approximately 1.5Mb, 11Mb, 52Mb, and 300Mb. Note that you will only get the 300Mbps speed if your computer (or other wireless device) also has a wireless-N adapter. If it is lower speed, this router will be backwards compatible and run at that speed.Also note that while your WiFi in your house may run at 300Mbps, your DSL connection through your phone line will not. Answer:	Yes. It works great once you get set up. The minor issue with set-up is that you have to get your DSL username and password from Frontier. Their usernames are too long for the configuration utility that is shipped with the unit, so you have to get a firmware update file from Motorola. It took 10 minutes to download the file and then upload it to the router. Very easy, and Motorola provided step-by-step instructions. This replaced a Netgear 7550 that was dropping the internet connection continuously throughout the day.

Answer:	When you use AT&T Uverse, you have to use AT&T gateway in order to get the service. Even though it doesn't mean you have to settle for the WiFi that it provides. That means you can use the RV132W router to boost your wireless to the level that you would normally expect from a router. Answer:	Depending on how many walls or floors and the materials it has to pass through, I suspect the range to be able 100-150 feet. We have this router in an office building and the plaza next door to us (approx 250 feet) can see our signal. Downstairs and through a concrete floor, people who are only 20 feet away can get 1 bar of reception because the signal is trying to pass through cement. If you're using this with a wood floor, carpet or tile, you should still be getting decent signal.
