It is in the up position (12 o'clock) for normal operation. rotates the lock to the correct combination and push the black button to open the lock. After turning the screw, rotate the combination to the new number and then rotate the screw back to 12 o'clock. release the button and rotate the tumblers. The new number should be set then. It is still best to verify the exact measurements of your old light bulb, because these R7s light bulbs come in 78mm (shorter) and 118mm (longer) versions. You most likely have the 118mm version but it's worth finding out if you can simply measure the length of your existing light bulb. Answer:	Yes, it would more than accommodate 30 fire's. It's perfect for chromebooks which are thinner then traditional laptops. My older (2014) Macbook Pro fits in each slot perfect as well. The thickness of anything you put in each slot should be less then 3/4 of an inch. Anything thicker wouldn't work... Hope this helps.

Question:	We have several of these in our inventory, but are missing the keys. Can we purchase the keys alone
Answer:	We're glad you asked! Honestly even with our relationships with OEM's we have trouble getting information about which of their devices have which lock slot. Your best bet is to go to HP's support website, type in the exact model name (e.g, 15-cs0003ca), then click the "User Guides" link, then open the Maintenance and Service Guide file. Around page 4 you'll see the security slot type. With the 15-cs0003ca (which is a Pavillion 15) page 4 stated a Nano Security Cable Slot which is our model #K64444WW. When I look up a different model (15-cc060wm) the guide states "Security Cable Slot" which is vague but probably means our standard Kensington lock mechanism will work (like this model K65035A). So, because of the wide variety of notebooks, and even Pavilion models, be safe and check the support website. Thanks!

Answer:	No, this lock is NOT compatible with the Dell XPS 13. It simply does not fit in the slot. I had to return this lock. You must use a wedge lock for the Dell XPS 13 (not a rotating one).
Question:	What is the depth of the anchor plate? I need it for a laptop but don't want to significantly change the thickness of the laptop
Answer:	Probably 1/4" or less. I use mine on the lid to keep the underside level. It will not interfere with a case.

Answer:	If you click on the lowest image to the left of the tray on the Amazon page you can see all the dimensions although they are in MM. Actual width of the tray is 21". Width including to the outside of the brackets is 22.25". We describe as 23" to try to ensure cutoemrs will ahve enough free space under the desk. Qline team.

Answer:	Hello:In mine, the largest compartment is the entire width. Of the three smaller compartments, the largest is six inches (two inches high).

Answer:	It's full extension glides. Very smooth. When pushing the tray in to hide it, there's even a little resistance right before fully closing it which is nice because it keeps the drawer from just coming out at the slightest touch.

Answer:	There is no real adjustment feature. Normally you just give a tug and it should slide out. And logically it should loosen with time as well. We have not had any issues with this feature until now
