Answer:	The VGA does not support audio. Definitely picture though! You might have to use an aux chord for audio but I don't know the ports on your cable box/TV but I hope this helps!

Answer:	Mine also did NOT come with the extension cable. The unit looks like a genuine apple product (all the usual markings) and a genuine apple box (although a much smaller one that they usually come in).

Answer:	This is sized for the 15" laptop, but will also work for the 13" - the higher watt rating means it won't work as hard for the 13". I have several of these and they work fine for our 13" as well as the 15".
