Answer:	From Cleveland: You will need a heavy winter coat. This is a lightweight jacket for fall and mild winter days. Definitely not a winter coat. If you can, get this and a heavy one too. This one is light and comfortable but too light for the frozen tundra of Boston.

Answer:	There is a lot of rigidity in the structure of this backpack. It's not like a soft sided Jansport. So if you didn't have a lot of clothes, then yes. It is certainly great for carrying your computer safely. I've had mine for over a year and use it as my pack to and from work, and it looks like the day I bought it.

Answer:	I have carried 15" Mac Bk Pro plus a good 5" width of books and "stuff"in other main section. Has 3 main compartments plus little extras like safe zone. The issue I have is that its EASY to load it to 10+ kgs (22lbs). Far too easy to load up. Great bag - good padding for the laptop and the compartments are good.
