Answer:	The handles at the top are 1.5" and at top where you can snap them together to carry as luggage go to 3/4". The straps at the back to use as backpack: padded area is 2.5" and padding with fabric is 1/4" firm padding. (Quite substantial. I've never had an issue with it cutting into my back no matter the weight). The luggage strap is 8.5" when flat, so you will need to figure that the luggage pull up handle has some depth to it. I've never had a problem no matter what sized luggage I used. This backpack is awesome; best purchase ever. It goes everywhere with me and has easily traveled outside of the US. It fits under the seat, and the side pockets for water bottles has elastic to keep it falling free (unless of course you turn the backpack upside down.. true story) and even accommodates my phone/keys for those "emergency put it somewhere because your hands are needed elsewhere" occurrences. Question:	What size is the pocket for the power bank
Answer:	In reviewing the dimensions of the Galaxy Note 9, we think that the width of the cell phone may be a bit too wide for the pocket. But please check back often, we have some backpacks launching soon that will have larger tech pockets for cell phones.

Answer:	I did not look at that on the backpack and it is off to college with my student. I am assuming US but I do not know for sure.

Answer:	Just barely, it will be a tight fit tho. You would be better off going a size up to the Deluxe. It's a great bag but like I said storage is a bit limited with the standard.
