Answer:	Probably just for sanitation. I ran hot tap water with some soap through the pieces first to clear out any particles that may be there.

Answer:	The 2 liter hydration bladder is no plastic taste at all. I bought two of them, they are good. Before using them rinse it throughly with salt water.

Answer:	I hiked the Inca Trail for 4 days with this bladder in my standard backpack, along with a book, jacket, sunscreen, snacks and other materials rubbing against it while hiking 8 hours a day. No leaking!

Answer:	Just barely, it will be a tight fit tho. You would be better off going a size up to the Deluxe. It's a great bag but like I said storage is a bit limited with the standard.

Answer:	With all the supplies I packed in it, food, water, first aid, folding saw, etc. My pack weighed about 20 lbs. I used it for a weekend of hiking and camping and it held up very well. It's a good pack.

Answer:	It can be squeezed into the backpack , but just barely . This bag isn’t ideal for carrying a laptop, and constantly having to stuff the laptop inside will probably wear the zipper out eventually. Answer:	My 9x13 inch laptop fit well in the main content area but not the "tablet" pocket of the main area. Same for my Surface 6. The tablet section is clearly meant for standard iPads. The main section would probably fit something 11x15, or similar, but the zipper is what would limit you.

Answer:	It does not, however premier Level IIIA Vertx Commuter Sling 2.0 Backpack Panals body armor 10" X 17.5 fits perfectly into the back area.
Question:	Is the cp color currently listed a dark camo or regular camp pattern
Answer:	No. This will not fit a 15 inch laptop. I have 3 15 in laptops and neither will fit. I have Lenovo, Asus, and MSI laptops. Vertx bags are awesome so I was bummed out because of this.
Question:	I just got this pack and can not figure if it is a chest pack or back pack. Maybe both
Answer:	Yes. The bag has a little give to it so you should be able to fit it in there.

Answer:	Nowhere on the Vertx site does it say anything about this bag being water resistent. It hasn't rained here in Arizona since I bought it but it seems like it could take some splashes.
