Question:	Does this have a pocket for crampons? Hook for ice axe
Answer:	There are three connections: (1) solar panel, (2) battery and (3) load. There is no light sensor. The solar panel will typically be in the 17-24 DC range in full sunlight. The battery and load must be the same voltage and connected with the correct polarity. A 12 volt sealed lead acid battery (SLA) is the best choice since it can be deeply discharged without harm. I have a 35 watt solar panel and a 92 amp hour 12 volt SLA battery. I don't use the load connection but connect directly to the battery terminals through a 30 amp inline fuse. I have a 350 watt pure sine wave 12V to 115VAC inverter which is safe for computers and other sensitive electronic devices. This solar panel interface device works great. It gives you LED indicators of your battery condition. It took about 10 minutes to hook up the solar panel and battery. You can use the load connection for 12 volt devices but that is optional. If you are charging a big battery, connecting directly to the battery through a fuse lets you run higher power inverters.
Question:	Is it big enough for a 70m rope and gear
Answer:	I have a 35 watt panel connected to the controller. The controller must have a 12 volt battery connected for the panel to charge. The panel cannot directly run a load. The controller does two things at the same time. It charges the battery from the panel and runs the load from the battery. As long as the panel generates more watts than the load needs the battery will stay charged and the battery will handle the load without running down. 0.4 amps x 12 volts = 4.8 watts. Even a 10 watt panel should work. I use a 7.0 amp hour 12 volt sealed lead acid battery (SLA). These batteries are available on line for about $15. The controller won't work without the battery.

Answer:	You could connect things up that way, but that's not the intended purpose of the "load" connection. The "load" connection is really for running a light or such where if the battery gets too low (down to 10.5V), the controller shuts off the load to avoid totally draining the battery to 0V which can ruin it. If you're not using the load connection for such, there won't be a problem doing that, but if you did connect a load there as well then the battery on that connection can be drained to 0V and be damaged. Otherwise that connection will be regulated from the solar panels just as the battery is.

Answer:	I have not tried that specific model, but we have the larger Dell Precision laptops, such as the M6800,and this did fit. However, there was not much extra room. A laptop such as the Area51 with the large rear cooler may not fit. The physical dimensions of my Precision M6800 are arount 11" deep x 16.5" wide and 19.5" diagonal.

Answer:	this bag will hold all the catching gear and a batting helmet and glove....bats, but it's extremely difficult to fit it all in and zip the bag up...my little girl could never fit the equipment in. Hope this helps
