Answer:	Yes, it does. It has 2 zipper "pouches" in it and one of them (the front one, I think) has a silky type pocket on the inside of it that I would assume is made specifically for a computer. This is a FANTASTIC backpack. If you are in doubt, trust me, this one is the one! I LOVE mine!

Answer:	It is TOO large. It is almost the carry on maximum size for most airlines. The personal item size limit is just over half the size of this thing. You can carry this as your large item and a tote bag or purse or daypack sized backback or laptop case as your "personal" item.
