Answer:	Use f100s and spray it in openings in the pot body while rotating the knob back and forth several times, then test for noise. Repeat the process for persistently noisy pots. You can clean the pot first with good electronic contact cleaner spray before using f100s, worked in most cases.

Answer:	A coarse scrub will do for a spark plug lead that is carrying 30,000 V. This product is for cleaning little smudges that might bother a 5V signal.

Answer:	The size wouldn't matter. All you are applying it to is electrical contacts, so yes it can be used on any size contact ... I've known of a chap that used it to clean the contacts on his electric meter coming into his house. That's 220 VAC @ 200 amps. Pretty big stuff.

Answer:	I am very pleased with this purchase. I left windows 10 on it because my wife wants it. To your question. I would assume you could put windows 7 on it if Microsoft would allow it. I have purchased another small form factor HP and immediately put Linux Mint on it. Now it's my machine not Microsoft's. IMO it's the way to go. Good Luck.

Answer:	For non-game users, the 3rd generation i5-3470S with a clock speed of 2.90GHz works fast and that processor is in my HP Elite that I bought through Amazon in December 2019. I am really happy with this unit. The i5-3470 with a clock speed of 3.2GHz was built for the gaming population.

Answer:	I believe there is one small enough to clean the contact points in a fuse panel.

Answer:	For mild oxidation causing surface coupling, I would use the usual electronic contact cleaner spray first then apply d100 while surfaces are still wet to improve volatility for deep fluid penetration. Reapply again after 15mins. Theoretically it should work for mild cases since it dissolves and/or loosens surface contaminants and lubricates surfaces. Caution not to spill on headphone surfaces, it can stain especially on light colored materials including plastic. However, whether you succeed or not in freeing the connector, you will still be needing this for regular future maintenance so the situation does not repeat again with other connectors. Hope this helps....

Answer:	I haven't checked how long it takes to dry up (and if it ever does), but since it is oil based and is not a dry lubricant, you would have an oil film after the initial de-oxidation step which occurs immediately as you apply it. Your best recourse is to wipe the surface clean after the oxidation removal step is over and the sizzling stops.

Answer:	Yes. I just installed this drive in my son's mid-2012 13" Macbook Pro (non-retina) and the speed difference is amazing! I would recommend first updating your operating system to Mac OS X High Sierra which also updates the recovery partition on your Mac. When you install your new drive, hold down Option-Command R when powering on to boot into the recovery partition which will then allow you format and install the OS. If you happen to see a message that the Recovery server is not available, you probably just need to set the Macbook clock to the correct time with the command: date mmddhhmmyy. For example: date 0128140018 will set the date to January 28, 2pm, 2018. The date is set through the Terminal app, also available on the Recovery partition.

Answer:	I would say this isn't the product you're looking for. This is intended to clean mating contacts between electronic components. While it almost certainly will do no harm to a PCB and will evaporate quickly, I don't think that's the intended purpose. To clean a dusty PCB, I would use compressed air. For a contaminated or greasy PCB, compressed air followed by an electronic degreaser.

Answer:	You'll need a no wipe top coat. They say that using black underneath looks better but for the Chrome look I paint my nails whatever color chrome I want to use. (This week I wanted red chrome, so I painted my nails red) I paint my nails as usual..then I finish with a no wipe top coat, cure it for about 20 seconds, then press the chrome powder on to your nail till it's covered...then buff it out, then top it with the no wipe top coat again and cure... I repeat that until I get the exact shade and shine I'm looking for. I Hope this helps

Answer:	I use these type of powders on my nails all the time and I don't use Gel. Apply a base coat followed by a nail polish of the color of chrome you are using. If using holo you can use any color! While the polish is still a little sticky, pat the powder on and buff gently with the allocator. I use a small make-up brush and I think it works better. If it's chrome then just ad a good top coat and done. If holo add a top coat and then another layer of powder for brightest effect. It's super easy. It's just one extra step in your manicure. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Almost certainly yes: you may need to purchase a cable to connect it to the sata port on the motherboard, and go into the bios to update the settings and ensure your primary drive remains the boot drive

Answer:	I think so (on their website), but you seriously shouldn't be purchasing any WD Green storage options anyway. Sequential write speeds on them are famously low. I just got a new Samsung 970 Evo drive and it's literally 10x faster than this Green SSD.

Answer:	Performance and longevity, the Blue is faster than the green and has a higher endurance rating (lasts longer). WD Green is essentially the economy line, which tends to also use less power, thus being an ECO line. I wouldn't recommend the green line unless web-browsing and office is the extent of your computer usage. The Blue has 5 times the endurance rating, 400TBW vs 80TBW, which is enough of a difference alone, for me.

Question:	How do you format this and why is that necessary for new drives? What stops me from plugging it right into my system and getting started
Answer:	Depends on what you're doing. You can connect this to your system but new drives will not be functional until you initialize them and create a partition under Disk Management. Your other option (what I did with this drive) is to disconnect your existing drive and then install this (while PC is off if that's not obvious). Then you have a blank drive in your system and can boot from an OS disc like Windows 10. A fresh Windows 10 installation will still recognize the drive and be able to initialize it properly as well as create the necessary partitions. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

Answer:	Reviews have suggested that the two drives are VERY close in performance (nearly within margin of error of tests). The WD Black gen3 devices were the first ones to actually challenge the 960 EVO NVMe drives for dominance of the high-performance consumer grade SSDs. You can't go wrong with either one, as far as I can tell, at least from reviews. They'll provide insignificant differences in speed/performance between the two. Therefore, you should purchase based on price and (if it's important to you) warranty. Note also that the WD drive caps at 1TB in size (vs. 2 TB for the 970 EVO), so if you wanted to go that route, there's only one choice. As far as "best high-performance consumer level" NVMe drive, the 970 EVO and the 3rd generation WD black are on an even playing field, and both at the top of the stack (this ignores the "prosumer" market devices like the 970 Pro where prices are much higher per gigabyte). Note that it's possible that you won't notice any performance difference between these high-performance NVMe drives and, say, a high-quality SATA drive.

Answer:	The 960 Pro is from the previous generation. The newer one is the 970 Pro. Comparing the 960 Pro to the newer 970 EVO is a bit difficult because they aren't in the same class. The Primary difference between the Pro and the EVO is the Pro uses MLC (Multi Level Cell) whereas the EVO uses a Triple Level Cell. Case and point with the EVO. You can get a 2tb EVO drive but the Pro tops out at 1tb. The silicon is able to get more storage space for the real estate with TLC. On the other hand MLC is more reliable and more hearty than TLC which is why the Pro is using the MLC. Maybe you want to know about write endurance. One thing to keep in mind about write endurance is you will probably never come close to hitting it's limits unless you are using the drive all the time to save and load large files like a professional would. Also, the write endurance of the 1tb 970 Pro is double the write endurance of the 512gb 970 Pro. hardware review sites and done tests of the actual write cycle longevity of these drives and these drives last longer than what they're rated for. More than likely in your case, these drives will be long obsolete by the time they're half worn out. The write endurance of the 500gb 970 EVO is 300TB write cycles. Sequential R/W of the 970 EVO is 3400MB/s read and 2300MB/s write. I believe the 970 evo uses a Single Level Cell cache to boost write speeds. The write endurance of the 512gb 960 Pro is 400TB/wc. Sequential R/W of the 960 Pro is 3500MB/s read and 2100MB/s write The 970 series is more refined. Both use the updated Phoenix controller whereas the 960 series uses the Polaris controller. Both the 960 Pro and 970 EVO have a 5 year warranty. The older 960 EVO only has a 3 year warranty. The answer to this question between the 960 Pro and 970 Evo is simple........... get whichever is cheaper.

Answer:	I have two of these and am about to get a third. No, you don't need to download anything (at least on windows and linux computers). I reformat mine to NTFS because I switch between OS's. One thing to note the usb "A" adapter is "notched" and will only fit on one way completely, you probably got a bad one, it happens, send it back if no luck.

Answer:	Basically, my home setup is an all-Mac setup. What I did immediately after I got it out of the box was to format it and partition it 200 GB HFS+ and 800 GB APFS. The HFS+ partition is used for Time Machine, and the APFS partition has four volumes (capacity is allocated dynamically between volumes within the APFS partition). How I would use this in a mixed environment: one HFS+ partition for Time Machine (you can't use APFS partitions for Time Machine); one APFS partition for the files that will be used only with a Mac; and one ExFAT partition for instances where you need to be able to access the file in Windows and on a Mac. Also, make sure you keep that USB-C to USB-A connector that comes with the drive; it comes with about a 6-inch cable with USB-C connectors at both ends.

Answer:	YES! I have 2 that I use for this, be aware you may have to change your system setup to use, On mine I have to change SATA controller mode to AHCI from RAID and UEFI to Legacy support and boot priority to Legacy first (Lenovo). Once you have those setting fixed you will be amazed how fast it will run. I run fedora on a 1TB for storage and Fedora Securrity Spin on a 500 GB drive to use to recover data and fix customers machines. I have also run CentOS and Linux Mint with no issues.

Answer:	I would do a clean format of it on the imac first, you can choose exFAT (it will work on both PC and mac) or you can choose Mac OS Extended (HFS+) which is more stable than exFAT, but you will need software on your PC to read/write to the drive. If the PC is your main machine I would just choose exFAT.

Answer:	Your iMac has USB 3.0 which is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1. That has about half the theoretical maximum transfer rate of USB 3.1 Gen 2, which is the interface used by this drive. On the upside, it is still fully compatible with USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 and while the transfer rate you’ll experience will be lower than if you had a computer with Gen 2 USB, it really isn’t that much slower in actual use. If you’re moving from any spinning platter drive to an SSD regardless of the interface you were using with the platter drive, you will see a HUGE performance improvement using this external SSD drive.
