Answer:	You will probably need the OEM serial number from the heat sink on the Inspiron itself to establish whether it is compatible. The heat sink in this review was compatible with a Dell Studio XPS 8100. These heat sinks are after market not available retail so the OEM serial number is essential to establish the right replacement part.

Answer:	The size wouldn't matter. All you are applying it to is electrical contacts, so yes it can be used on any size contact ... I've known of a chap that used it to clean the contacts on his electric meter coming into his house. That's 220 VAC @ 200 amps. Pretty big stuff.
