Answer:	I disagree with KM. Haven't tried this AudioEngine DAC, but the NUforce Mac-specific DAC I own makes a noticeable difference, mostly in the clarity of the highs. It makes the Mac's built-in DAC sound shrill. On lower-end headphones it might not be detectable. And, of course, everyone's hearing is different. I can listen to Google Play streaming much longer on my Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones through an external DAC than without one.

Answer:	I have the game one headset and it sounds great. I wish the headphone ohm setting had a 50 ohm selection, but I can't go over half volume in Windows at the 32ohm setting so it pushes plenty of power. I had the sound blaster zx before this and this card sounds better.
Question:	This or the zxr? that is only $20 more but 5 year old tech. i use the logitech z906 speakers and no headphones
Answer:	i don't know, do you listen to 24bit audio, like blu rays and youtube and high-res music from hdtracks, or 32bit audio? If 24bit, you might be best off then with the ZxR, on the other hand I'd say the AE-5 is a safer bet, because of the surely nicer headphone amp inside can be properly used with many more headphones..., but then again your using speakers and might have an external headphone amp.., Hard to say.
Question:	If I hook up an astro mixamp (with headphones) to the fiber-optic port, am I losing the benefits of this card? Or will it pass through the amp
Answer:	Outputting digital audio via S/PDIF means that its quality becomes dependent of the DAC built into your external amplifier or mixamp, rather than the output stages of the Sound Blasterx AE-5 as, optical signals are in PCM stereo format only. Also, the Sound BlasterX AE-5 does not have Dolby and DTS encoding for optical out.
Question:	Does the led on the card itself work without the molex connector? i'm not interested in attaching the led strip
Answer:	For me, the led on the card DOES NOT work without the molex. As I have no interest in attaching the LED strip or using molex, I don't know if it's by design or by fault.
Question:	Does this allow a usb stick to be shared by 2 devices at the same time? (1 device reads while the other writes). is there a less costly method
Answer:	No. It would allow the same USB stick to be seen by 2 computers, but only one at a time. When you switch to PC #1 only it can see the USB inputs. When you switch to PC#2 only it can see the USB inputs and PC #1 can no longer see the USB inputs. Probably the best way of accomplishing what you're talking about is to plug the USB stick into one PC and share the drive over your network.

Answer:	I purchased this KVM. I'll post what it states in the manual to best serve you:"support for high resolution applications (supports resolutions beyond 1080p: 2560x1600 @60Hz, up to 3840 x 2400 at lower refresh rates), offering a superior KVM switching solution thatintegrates perfectly into demanding imaging, medical, and multimedia environments."In other words, I have 1440p monitor & I get 96Hz with my 27" PLS monitor running on a GTX670. I think another user posted on the review that he got 120Hz with his 1080p setup. Keep in mind if your hardware can support it I don't see why not since its just routing the signal. In other words, NO it does NOT SUPPORT 1080p @ 1440Hz, but it might work if your hardware can handle it, since this is designed as a high resolution kvm. I think it has more bandwidth to route the signal but I cannot vouch for that.
Question:	Anyone used this with a laptop & VGA cable + VGA to DVI-I adpater? Can't get the laptop to see the ext. monitor through the switch. PC tower sees it
Answer:	If I understand you correctly, this won't work. VGA is an analog signal. DVI-I is a combined cable with both analog and digital wires. A VGA to DVI-I adapter simply connects the analog and leaves the digital hanging. This StarTech switch is designed to switch the dual link dvi (digital) signal - so it would ignore any analog signal.

Answer:	This is quite a comprehensive little starter bundle! However, I did purchase an extra SanDisk 128GB Ultra SD Card for insurance. I also purchased a camera case (MegaGear Leather Cameral Case with Strap compatible with Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II & III & just X, C$16.99 and comes in varying colors) to fit my Canon G7X II and I'm very pleased that I did as I don't always want to keep it in the big carrying case but I also want it to be protected when not in use or carrying it in my bag other than the bag provided. Because I film indoors for YouTube I also did get a normal sized tripod (Polaroid 57" Photo/Video Tripod C$36.99, a really good one - I don't have this one but would love to, is the ZOMEi 75" Tripod US$149.96) and an EachShot Ringlight plus 2 Viltrox L132T lights for a 3 point lighting system. I had originally purchased 2 Softboxes when I was filming with my iPhone but I don't need it for my small room filming as the G7X takes in so much light now. When I film in my bigger room then I use my Ringlight plus just the 2 Viltrox lights (3 lights total) BUT when I'm filming in my smaller room I just use the 2 Viltrox lights and that's it. No need to use the big softboxes and no need to employ my Ringlight. Now, I just use my Softbox light (sometimes) & Viltrox lights when shooting product shots with my iPhone. I hope this helps.

Question:	When connected via USB to a Win 10 PC, how many playback/recording devices does this show up as? One each, or multiple for the multiple inputs/output
Answer:	On my Windows 10 64 bit system, it shows up as one recording device and one playback device. I find that there may be a couple of places where you need to enable the device -- you can set it as the default device in your audio settings, but some programs such as Audacity seemed to require setting the playback and recording device there also. Also, to hear the microphone that you plug into the K3+, it seems you have to push the "monitor" button and have the volume up some on the K3+ headphone channel you are listening to as well as making sure the K3+ is selected in your computer settings/program as the microphone and playback devices.
Question:	When i'm using the auto tune feature (set to any key) it makes my voice sound as if i am standing in a bathroom. is this fixable
Answer:	Auto-Tune creates special "electric voice" effect while "-" represents a flat tone. Answer:	In performance, both models incorporate the 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC chip, the 9010 in Black and the higher-performance 9016 in Red. While the Black uses the same headphone amp and analog volume control found in previous version, the new Red includes the latest ESS headphone amp and a bit-perfect digital volume control that resides on the 9016 DAC chip itself. In power the Black puts out 1.2 volts: enough power to drive all preamplifier input circuits and a wide range of efficient headphones. Answer:	I hesitated to answer this question since it's about 4 years old now, but I'm sure somebody else will be wondering the same thing. I must say it's one of the most illogically comical questions that I've ever read. Let me explain. It's like asking if using jet fuel will improve the grass cutting performance of a lawnmower. Obviously, it won't. You just need a more efficient lawnmower. The DAC + preamp + plus headphone amp merely will make the headphones louder but NOT make them sound better. In fact, most low-cost headphones (in the $10 - $30 range) typically suffer from sibilance (hiss), muffled bass, tinny highs, too dominant mid-range, and distortion at higher volumes due to using low-quality components. A: When the PC player output device is set to "KS"or "ASIO", the sampling rate of K3's Coaxial and Optical output is followed by the tracks themselves. However, most speakers on the market with SPDIF input only support 48kHz sampling rate, so there will be no sound output. For this kind of use environment, it is recommended to set the output device to "DS" or "wave out" on the music program on your computer.
