I think you better get a AMD FX Heatsink CPU Cooling Fan for AMD FX 4100 3.6/3.8 GHz. it has copper core thick and good weight on it... the best conducts heat fromt the cpu. now only available in ebay. in my experience heatsink of the FX 4100 way better than a cooler of a price $50 or more. do not use the heatsink that came with the fx 8350 it is a piece of crap. you will find the truth after you put it on and try it for yourself.

Question:	When installing these as a side fan in a thermaltake core x9 case, how do you tell which direction the fan pulls air into the case
Answer:	Yep. I agree with both "Amazon Customer" and "Jeff T."This is true for PC case fans. It used to be that some DC fans could spin either way depending on how they were connected.That is not the case any more. Fans and their connections are standardized so that wind blows out the side that has the support bars and so that the fan can only connect to the motherboard in one way.You can mount Riing fans back-to-back (stacked) for greater forced air pressure. It will not hurt them. I have twin 140's doing this out the back of my case. At one time I had a triple stack but it was overkill.The Thermaltake cases are sweet... hope you are enjoying the case. One note though..... don't reinstall the fans too much (as in configuring and testing your layout). The rubberized plastic will only take the fans screws so many times before the hole is reamed too large in the fan tabs to reinstall. Then you have to use threadlocker or a dab of hot glue in the hole to give the screws something to bite on.These are some of the finest-built fans I've used.

Question:	Can it run on just usb cuz i want to put htis on my xbox or does it need to be pluged into a pc
Answer:	Aside from Snaps11, ignore these trolls. They lack the mental fortitude to be able to provide a real answer. No, it will not STANDARDLY fit into the case of an XBox. But the science of whether it will transfer general heat is there. You'll need to find a way to brace the fan in a way that keeps it clear of debris, so I recommend building a small wooden frame that lifts it off of whatever surface the XBOX stands on (to keep clear of settling dust). You will also need to find a way to maintain contact of the cooling plate on the area you wish to cool. Because the cooling is concentrated on the contact area, I recommend purchasing three single fan cooling systems to place where the XBOX heats up the most. This will void the warranty, but I recommend cutting away parts of the plastic casing so that the metal cooling plates can be placed against metal, where the greatest heat transfer can take place. So can these be used on consoles, or anything really? Yes, provided you understand that metal contact is the best way to transfer heat, and you are ok doing an augmentation job on the device you wish to cool.

Answer:	120's I replaced them with Corsair Air Series SP 120 LED High Static Pressure Fans Cooling. Cooler is working great. Rig is running between 32c and 42c.

Answer:	You could, but it's not necessary. The reason anti-freeze is used in cars is because the range of temperatures a car's engine may be exposed to are wider than your computer. People who say anti-freeze is just to stop water from freezing are wrong. If they were right, people in hot climates would only need water in their cars, but just using water will overheat the car due to the climate + engine heat. Ethylene glycol is called antifreeze, but could just as easily be called "anti-boil" since it's boiling point is 235F! So unless your CPU is going to be running at over 100C? You don't need "coolant/antifreeze" as well as water.

Answer:	The cooler is 1.4 inches tall on it's own - I think it would be a very tight fit - definitely 3U, but I would say no to a 1U.

Answer:	If you mean for low profile, then it should work. This is one of the smallest form factor CPU coolers I have ever used. It should work just fine.If not this then check out the Rosewill RCX Z775-LP CPU cooler. That one was even lower profile than this one and I used it in a gaming build that I still have. It isn't RAW gaming cooling power, but it works wonderfully for its intended purpose and the addition of supplemental fans on the case help it out where it lacks in terms of moving hot air out.

Question:	Is it enough for i7 6700k
Answer:	I'm running this on an i7 6700k on an itx board with a gtx 970 in an itx case. The cpu idles in the mid 20's Celsius and hovers in the mid 60s during gaming. I haven't overclocked yet, but I think I will be fine with a moderate OC. Also, the fan is silent.

Also I will tell you I fried one Asrock M.B. because the rear mount Plate has a thin Foam like pad and over A year it allowed a solder point to short. Question:	Will these fans work with a 3 pin fan controller to decrease or increase the speed of the fan, i am looking to use nzxt sentry mesh fan control
Answer:	It has 3 pins on my TT case.. however this case is approx 2 years old, has 3 identical 20 cm dia. fans, and the top one started to rattle. It was either faulty, or it failed prematurely but it did not sustain 30,000 work hours. THe rattling is not very persistent, but it is apparent there is some lose play on the bearing/shaft. The other 2 are still quiet. So I ordered a new one from Amazon for 14.99.

Answer:	Yes, this fan is indeed brushless and has sleeve bearings. Life expectancy is 30,000 hours. Hope this helped. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Seems to be a great addition to my case.
Question:	what is the length from screw hole to screw hole
Answer:	The center of the screw holes are exactly 6 and 1/16 inches apart according to my micrometer. I know as I've laser cut an acrylic case cover to fit the fan precisely.

Answer:	Depends on which i7, probably not much. I went with the Corsair H55 instead.
Question:	How much would it cool down a 90° CPU
Answer:	If your CPU is running at 90 degrees Celsius, this fan will not be suitable to maintain a good operating temperature. You'll need to water cool the CPU.
Question:	Will this work on a i7_9700k overclocked
Answer:	Yes, but to be honest I would either get an extra fan or get on that comes with 2 fans if your going to overclock that CPU. If you are planning to run a 24/7 overclock I would try to get something a bit better like something from Noctua. I know they are more expensive but you could get some throttling if you don't have a real good cooler.
