4 best antec 120mm fans
Antec is a well-known manufacturer of computer components and accessories, including case fans. The Antec 120mm fans are a specific type of cooling fan designed for use in computer cases. Here's what you need to know about Antec 120mm fans:
Size and Compatibility: The "120mm" in the name refers to the fan's size. These fans have a diameter of 120 millimeters, which is a common size for case fans. They are designed to fit into standard 120mm fan mounts found in most computer cases.
Airflow and Cooling: Antec 120mm fans are engineered to provide efficient airflow and cooling inside a computer case. They help dissipate heat generated by various internal components, including the CPU, GPU, and power supply, to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
Quiet Operation: Many Antec 120mm fans are designed with quiet operation in mind. They feature specially designed blades and bearings to minimize noise while still delivering effective cooling performance. This makes them suitable for systems where low noise levels are a priority.
Bearing Type: Antec fans often use different bearing types, such as sleeve bearings or fluid dynamic bearings. These bearings determine the fan's longevity and noise level. Fluid dynamic bearings, for example, tend to be more durable and quieter than sleeve bearings.
LED Lighting: Some Antec 120mm fans come with LED lighting options. These fans can add a visually appealing element to your computer case with LED lights in various colors. LED fans are popular among gamers and users who want to customize the look of their systems.
Speed Control: Some Antec fans offer speed control options. This allows users to adjust the fan's RPM (revolutions per minute) to balance cooling performance and noise levels according to their preferences.
Easy Installation: Antec 120mm fans typically come with standard mounting holes and connectors, making them easy to install in most computer cases. They often include screws or other mounting hardware for convenience.
Reliability: Antec is a reputable brand known for producing reliable computer components. Their fans are designed to have a long lifespan and perform consistently over time.
Applications: These fans are primarily used as case fans, but they can also be used for other cooling purposes within a computer, such as cooling heatsinks or radiators in liquid cooling setups.
Antec 120mm fans are a popular choice among computer enthusiasts and builders looking to improve airflow and cooling efficiency in their systems. When selecting a fan for your computer, it's essential to consider factors like airflow, noise level, and any specific features you may need for your build.

User questions & answers
Question: | Which way do these fans blow |
Answer: | Approximately 54 CFM. |
Question: | How does this fan differ from the ones posted with a cfm of 50.78 and a static pressure of 1.96mmH |
Answer: | yes they are 12 volt fans. |
Question: | Does anyone know the size of the screw |
Answer: | I did use this fan to replace the EVO 212 stock fan. This fan is pretty close to inaudible at 1000 RPM (goes up to 1500). But the fan does not move as much air as the stock fan. Idle temps are up 2 degrees C, load temps are up almost 10 degrees C. If your rig is already running hot, this is not the right fan for you. |
Question: | Are these 24 volt |
Answer: | The NF-F12 is a high static pressure fan designed to push airflow against substantial resistance, as with a water-cooling radiator or a heatsink. For a case fan, you're better off with the NF-S12A -- it's both quieter and moves a greater volume of air. |
Question: | How much air does this push in CFM |
Answer: | This does not come with fan hub. Each fan has a molex connector and 3pin motherboard connector. You can daisy chain with molex connectors |
Question: | Just confirming these are 12 volts. Using for a different application |
Answer: | Yes, you should have no problem connecting the 4-pin Molex peripheral connectors on each fan to each other. There is both a male and a female end that you can use to daisy chain them together. |
Question: | Can I use this to replace EVO 212's stock fan (a Cooler Master 120mm which rattled from day one), facing downwards, clipped to the heatsink? Thx |
Answer: | Sleeve bearing fans! |
Question: | Would this be a better case fan then the NF-S12A PWM? I want to mount a fan on my case to blow air on my HDDs |
Answer: | Yes, all our fans come with screws. |
Product features
Heptaperf Impeller
Custom designed for the new Focused Flow frame and to work in tandem with the eleven stator guide vanes, the NF-F12's seven blade Heptaperf impeller has been carefully optimised to achieve a perfect balance between power and quietness.
SSO2 bearing
The NF-F12 is the first fan to feature the further optimised second generation of Noctua's renowned, time-tested SSO bearing. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axis to provide even better stabilisation, precision and durability.
Varying Angular Distance and Vortex Control Notches
The NF-F12's stator guide vanes are set out in Varying Angular Distance and feature Vortex-Control Notches. Both measures help to spread the noise emission over a broader frequency spectrum and thus make the fan's sound pattern more agreeable to the human ear.

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the default color of the fans? Also does the fans have memory where you turn off the pc and then turn it back on, it'll be the same color |
Answer: | Any color you choose will be the default color. And yes it will stay the same color as you left it after restart. |
Question: | Does anyone know if these work with the nzxt hue 2 controller |
Answer: | the hue controller works with an app in your pc i would first download the hue application for your pc and then check the options available mind you razor and mystic light both contain settings for music so you can set the pc to music that way and the use the HUE app to sync the other lighting to music ...alexa also works with HUE |
Question: | Can I daisy chain connect them together |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | So i'm confused. It says non-addressable and that it has 4 pins, but the pictures show gradients which would mean they are addressable |
Answer: | Lots of confusion here: These are definitely 4 pin RGB. Not ARGB. What this means is that you can only set one color, and everything attached to the entire string will be that color. The multi-color gradients as shown in the photos are not possible with these fans. The photos are a bit of a marketing stretch, as the fan can technically display all of those colors... but only one at a time. |
- Infinity design: The 8K mirror in the center of the fan is combined with the black hole, and the infinity mirror effect with a single RGB LED ring creates a charming visual effect.
- 120mm low-noise fan: PWM intelligent speed-regulating fan, balanced fan blade heat dissipation is more sharp, can introduce more airflow during rotation, increase the output air pressure to improve heat dissipation efficiency, and both performance and quietness can be calmly faced .
- Reduce system temperature: extreme cooling performance-58.2 CFM and 0.92 mm, dynamic control of fan speed, powerful fan speed range from 500RPM to 1500 RPM, to minimize noise or maximize airflow.
- Synchronize RGB lighting through the motherboard: support M/B 3-pin RGB connector (5V, Di, -, G), compatible with ASUS Aura, ASRock RGB, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI RGB, 68,816.8 million colors and 8 independent controls LED, a variety of lighting modes are available, which can realize the synchronization of the main board.
- Worry-free after-sales: 18 months manufacturer's warranty and professional customer service assistance.
