Answer:	Perhaps this is info is too late, but I had this LG drive for about 6 months using it with Win-7.I just upgraded to Windows 10 last week, and the drive works just fine. I didn't have to update any drivers or anything.Unless Window 10 found the drivers and installed them in the background, so I didn't notice, but the bottom line is that it works fine.

That said the drive can handle it, but that might not be enough to get it to work depending on your system. You might have to upgrade other components as well.
