It hasn't occurred when manually alternate from the present input to anothe, only when the unit automatically alternates to another of the inputs because of the loss of the present one; the present one's loss due to it source device being powered off or the like. And I'm powering my unit with power coming from the input devices HDMI cables and not the USB cable connected to a device. If you are using the USB power cable try not and see if it fixes the issue; if not try using the USB power cable for power to see if it fixes it.

Answer:	I have noticed that when I power down one of my laptops, the other takes over but haven't really paid too much attention to your scenario. However, when both laptops (Apple and Dell) are powered on switching back and forth has been seamless and stable. I even have an Amazon Firestick plugged into one of the ports just to see if that worked. It was not a problem.

My experience has been that gaming or extended function keyboards DO NOT get along well with KVMs in general. Answer:	I have used the following: Samsung S5 Charger (2A I think) A random powerbank I had (5000 mAh), also 2A An Anker Powercore+ 10050 powerbank They all work. The dock seems to be happy with any phone charger I give it in general which is great. HOWEVER if you do use a charger while playing on the TV, your switch's charge may drop depending on the game. And this is normal as the charger cannot provide enough power for docked mode, so the switch uses a bit from the battery.

Answer:	I use it with a 50’ HDMI cable to an outside TV with no lag at all.

Answer:	I'm happy to say there is absolutely no automatic switching. That feature does not work perfectly and is a pain. I do not want any switch to move until I manually tell it to do so. That way the switching is problem free. I would pay tripple for a switch (like this one) that has no automatic feature. It never works correctly all the time, a hassle.

Answer:	I am using a fire stick and blu-ray player. 2 things how is your fire stick from your router? I moved my router because it said, You have a fair signal. You want a good or strong signal from your router cable modem with router. I also used a high quality 3 foot $ 16 HDMI cable from Home Depot. More money then the the switch. I also have a LG HD TV love this tv. I have no sound lag.
Question:	Do I need an hdmi cable for the single end or is one included
Answer:	You will definitely need 3 HDMI cables, with male connectors on all ends, to obtain full use of the Techole Bi-Directional HDMI Switcher. However, you may need to avoid inputting signals using HDMI cables with Ferrite cores. (HDMI cables with Ferrite cores have a round cylinder located just before the connectors on each end.) I use 2 Techole switchers: One splits a Roku output between my TV and receiver and the other one does the same for a Blu-ray disk player. My first HDMI input cables had Ferrite cores and the Techole switcher did not work at all; no switch light and no output signal. However, when I used non-Ferrite core HDMI cables for the input signals, the Techole worked perfectly, even with Ferrite core cables leading from the Techole switcher to the TV and receiver. As an additional precaution, I used 3 foot HDMI cables to minimize signal loss to the Techole input terminal.

Answer:	Technically with most of these switches they sense a device being powered and then make that switch location the active one. So if Google powers up chrome cast and that causes the switch to recognize that...then maybe...but I doubt it. I don’t recommend this product. It failed on me in less than a year and the manufacturer did not respond to ANY of their warranty contact methods. I have replaced it with the Kinivio switch which has been much better. Also, these switches all have trouble with “always on” devices like game systems and potentially the chromecast. This may require manual switching but the Kinivio has a nice little remote and the ability for you to turn off the auto-switching and select your desired output on the box or via the remote.

Question:	When using roku, do you still need to power the roku with the usb or wall outlet
Answer:	I don't have Roku, but I did have to externally power my Amazon Fire Stick. Of course, the HDMI switch quit working after about 4 months. When running the DVD, that had worked with it for 4 months, the image started pausing for several seconds at a time. I got a new DVD. It showed the same symptoms. When I bypassed the GANA switch with either DVD, they worked fine. Tried my PC with it as well. Got messages that the protocol was corrupt. Bypassed the GANA with my PC, too, and it worked fine without the GANA in the way.
Question:	Can you daisy chain two or more of these together
Answer:	I think so. Just not forget this are switches and only one output could be active. Let’s sai we make two chain by connecting input hdmi of second switch to output number 1 of first switch and then connect input of first switch to tv hdmi. If we activate output hdmi number 2 or 3 of the first switch, whole second switch will be unavailable. It will me available ONLY if output number 1 of first switch is active. In this case we have 5 outputs we could choose from, but again ONLY one of them could be active.
Question:	When 3 devices are connected, will it switch to the device that is turned on automatically
Answer:	I have another identical device from another seller that does switch automatically. This one does not do that. You have to manually press the button on the device to select your chosen input. The seller does mention this in the dude print....but alas. I only noticed this after purchase (thought I was buying another of the same unit that I already owned). It's not a huge deal, but for the same price from other sellers, the auto-switching is a nice feature.
Question:	Does this connect to three screens at a time or no
Answer:	It does NOT connect to 3 screens at once. What it does is allow you to have a TV that has only one HDMI port to now have 3 ports using this device. So if you connected this to the ONLY HDMI port on your TV, you will now have 3 ports. The device has a button allowing you to physically switch between the HDMI connections when you want (but you will have to get up & manually make the switch). There is also an indicator LED which lights up on the current HDMI feed.
