Answer:	Open the fan. On the flat part the holds the fan upright there are 2 plastic screw like things. This piece is shaped like a U. Turn each with a screw driver to remove. Then pop off the top cover. The batteries are inserted inside. Replace the cover and plastic screw like pieces and tighten them.

Answer:	Yes - If the 16ft standard line sets aren't long enough for where you plan to install your inside units, Senville will replace them with whatever length you need for an additional cost. 16ft was enough for one of my inside units, but I needed 35ft for the second one & 50ft for the third one. They only send 14/4 communication wire with the 16ft line sets so I bought 100ft from a big box home improvement store that sells DIY mini-splits. Worked perfectly. Just make sure the total length of your lines sets doesn't exceed the maximum length for the unit & that the vertical "drop" from the highest inside unit to the location on the ground where the outside unit will be sitting doesn't exceed the maximum either. In the U.S., outside units are charged with enough R410A Freon for a 25ft line set for each inside unit. The total length of my 3 line sets was 101ft (16+35+50) & my outside unit was charged for 75ft (25x3), so I needed to add R410A for an additional 26ft (101-75) - which was approximately 1/2lb. The amount of additional R410A you need to add for each additional foot can be found in the installation manual for the outside unit you buy. You can buy small cans of R410A made for "topping off" new systems when situations like this arise on eBay.

Answer:	Even in low mode it can easily be heard from the room next door. It's about as loud as the fans in popular gaming consoles. It emits an audible "whine" that's higher pitched than a "whoosh" you would hear from bigger fans. On medium and high it gets quite loud and in addition to a high pitch whine emits propeller like noise comparable to the propellers on small RC aircraft. If noise is a big factor for you I would recommend you look at alternative products. Most small fans produce more noise because they have to spin at higher RPMs. If you want an ultra quiet small fan I would recommend the PC fans made by Noctua and just run a long cable from your desktop's power.
Question:	Can you use regular batteries that are not rechargeable
Answer:	The fan has 3 speed modes when powered by a USB output capable of at least 1A. If the output cannot quite handle the highest speed it will likely default to only one speed mode. Sometimes maybe even two. Lowest speed draws about 250mA, medium about 500mA, and high about 1A. I bought a 10,000mAh powerbank to go along with this and put magnets on it so I can have some air blowing on me at work when I'm on a scissor lift up in the ceiling or something like that. It lasts all day on the highest speed. A cheaper 5000mAh powerbank or something will probably last all day on the lowest speed.

Answer:	Hi! I don't think so. It has this 4.2" blue battery at the back but it must be the energy storage. I've been charging it via USB overnight & it lasts during my 12-hr work if I don't turn it continously. It is very good fan, it helps me throughout the day, it has 3 levels of power, the lowest is strong enough to cool me off. Excellent fan!

Answer:	I conducted a half-dozen run-time tests, using time-lapse video to track results. Average results High speed: 2 hours 59 minutes Med. speed: 6 hours 29 minutes Low speed: 12 hours 9 minutes Note: In response to a negative customer review (Carpenter - June 27, 2018), OPOLAR states the following: "Before, this fan works 1.5 to 6 hours. Later, we updated the fan so the working time arrives 3 to 13 working hours but we did not update the user manual. We will update the user manual as soon as possible." My test results were reasonably consistent with OPOLAR's statement that they have updated their product to increase run-times.
Question:	What needs to be done to keep it at the same level instead of down cycling every 3 seconds
Answer:	Just to clarify. This fan runs on 5 volts DC, which is the USB standard. You need to plug the fan into a USB port for power. That USB port can be a computer, or it can be one of those USB "cubes" (I suggest the 2.4 amp cubes). Most of those cubes will work on 110 volt (U.S. power) or 220 volt (Europe power). You will need the correct power "adapter" for the USB cube, because different countries have different configurations for their electrical outlets.

Answer:	If you want to clean it by prying the fan open, I wouldn’t recommend it cause it’s on there pretty tight but you can definitely work a Q-tip in there or even slide in a thin rag for a quick dusting.
