Using the Blackmagic Speedtest application on a Mac Retina 4GHz Core i7 direct USB port through a Transcend SD/USB3 adapter, I measured a read speed of 53.7 MB/s and a write speed of 43.2 MB/s on several Canvas Select 128 GB cards. This was using file sizes of between 1 GB to 5 GB sourced from a 256MB/s SSD drive.
