Question:	How do you guys store this mouse in like a backpack or the similar, since there's no off button
Answer:	I’ve owned this mouse before and if nothing’s changed it will turn off and stay off if it doesn’t receive a signal from the receiver. So if you sleep your computer and press the mouse button, it turns off because there’s no reply. It won’t turn back on until it gets a signal from the receiver again.
Question:	is the mouse wheel smooth or does it click
Answer:	I just started using mine today, the mouse wheel has soft clicks (you feel it), and sometimes you will hear it if you scroll fast. I would NOT want this for gaming but for casual or office use its seems nice, my only complaint is the L/R keys are a bit louder than I like, and might disturb others if your doing a lot of clicking.
Question:	it doesn't have an on/off switch
Answer:	It has an ON switch that is very annoying. After some time (5-10 min) the mouse goes to sleep. It must be woken up by pressing the button below the scroll wheel. If you walk away or pause for 10 minutes you MUST press the button. It seems like I press the dumb button 10x per day. It's not horrible, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be in a 4.5-5 star mouse. I'd give it 3 at most because of this dumb design, and I will probably replace it with something a bit ... smarter.
Question:	how many and what kind of batteries does it use
Answer:	As the other individuals have answered, this mouse does take a double A battery, but please note that the battery compartment is super tight, so a rechargeable battery (eneloop pro's) don't fit into this device. Kind of disappointing, as all I use anymore is rechargeable batteries.

Answer:	It doesn't matter, as USB 2 is plenty fast for the amount of data a mouse sends. A USB 2 mouse will work with USB 3, and vice-versa.
Question:	is clicking and scrolling silent in this mouse compared to other mouse
Answer:	The clicking isn't silent, but after testing against an old Dell RP962 / PY777 and a new E-3lue Cobra this Amazon Basic mouse clicks more muted than both. As others have said scrolling quickly produces a slightly more noticeable sound, but scrolling slowly is stealth compared to the ambient noise I normally hear in my office.
Question:	How long is the cord? I ask because I'm using it for a desktop and prefer it to be at least 5 feet
Answer:	Okay!I measured the cord only with a ruler from the mouse to the tip of the USB plug in it and it is 4 ft. 8 1/2 inches. If you read my earlier post where I said it was 5 ft long, I hadn't measured it at that time.

Answer:	I had bought the same mouse in gray/black a couple years ago and just bought a second one in black/black. The old mouse worked flawless and really like it. However, the scroll wheel on the new mouse feels rougher than the one on the older mouse. Otherwise operation is excellent.

Answer:	I checked the SKU # on the mouse that I bought and it is the same as on the current one for sale. I can only guess that Tecknet uses the same mouse for a wireless model that would be equipped with a low battery light. Answer:	Hi Bill, The laser light on the unit will not light up like you can observe on some other models. My mouse worked with the dongle without my having to use the connect switch when it arrived but if yours is not responding try this: plug the dongle into a USB port, the computer should make a sound indicating it has found new hardware, then place the mouse within 1 foot of the dongle and press the connect button. You will observe a blue light as you mentioned flash twice. Release the connect button and you will see the blue light flash 5 times. This should then connect the mouse to the dongle and your mouse should work. Good luck. If you continue to experience problems make certain you are using good batteries. Answer:	Funny. I just wrote my review of this mouse yesterday, and this was my only complaint - but it's a big one. A "bit tough to click down" is an understatement. The wheel click is all but useless, and makes this otherwise great mouse a returnable item for me. I use the wheel click a lot, and this was a great disappointment to me. I had another Logitech mouse prior to this (that over time developed some other odd problems) but the wheel click worked perfectly - so it's certainly something Logitech knows how to do. Not sure what happened with this mouse. I bought two (returned one so far) so it's not just an anomaly...

Answer:	A very smooth rubber coating. Too smooth for my taste; not enough grip. I probably won't use it.

Answer:	Not on my iMac late 2015 running High Sierra. On my 2013 Mac Pro the Logitech MX Vertical the thumb buttons work fine.

Answer:	If the mouse has a new battery, is turned on, and your mac's bluetooth is turned on, the mouse should be automatically detected by your computer (System Preferences > Bluetooth). Question:	how loud are the button clicks
Answer:	The buttons don't seem to 'click' any more or less than other mouses I have laying around. They do seem to have a deeper pitch, though. So, I guess that could be perceived as less loud.
Question:	Can i use a single wireless adapter for microsoft sculpt ergnonmic keyboard and microsoft sculpt mouse
Answer:	Only if they're the same exact type. It would be best to buy the desktop kit with both and then yes it will work. For me, I wanted the comfort keyboard (I didn't like the ergonomic keybord) So I got the Sculpt Comfort Keyboard and the Sculpt Ergonomic mouse and I have to use 2 adapters. If you buy the Sculpt Ergonomic desktop you will only need 1.
Question:	The back keeps falling off, is anyone else having this problem. The magnets seem very weak
Answer:	Same problem .I was trying to insert it inside out.
Question:	Does it come in a left handed configuration
Answer:	I am a left handed person too, however I still use my right hand with a mouse. Its just something that I have always done. ALWAYS
