Answer:	Yes. I purchased these to lable my Uncles clothing, he is in a nursing home. Once I sewed the lable in the items that prevents any further raveling. You can also singe very lightly the ends, just like you would a ribbon.

Answer:	Probably. There is extra space at the ends. It might take a strong needle to go thru collar and tag. Tag thickness is like ribbon.

Answer:	You could sew them on by hand. You would need to place your needle inside the edge of the lable where it is thinner. I would use a loop type stitch that come up over the lable edge.
