The outside diameter of the Bosch table saw outlet is approximately 2 1/2 inches. The spring clamp when it is fully open is about 2 9/16 inches. So, in your case the bag would be loose. You would need to either build up the outlet on your jointer/planer or devise a different clamping mechanism.

Answer: Hi Bill, The laser light on the unit will not light up like you can observe on some other models. My mouse worked with the dongle without my having to use the connect switch when it arrived but if yours is not responding try this: plug the dongle into a USB port, the computer should make a sound indicating it has found new hardware, then place the mouse within 1 foot of the dongle and press the connect button. You will observe a blue light as you mentioned flash twice. Release the connect button and you will see the blue light flash 5 times. This should then connect the mouse to the dongle and your mouse should work. Good luck. If you continue to experience problems make certain you are using good batteries. You can also refer to a manual at: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03088883.pdf. This also contains other links that you can follow if you wish.

Answer: By default, these seem to be mapped to triple click, forward, and backward. You can change this in the driver. The reason for this seems to be that the simple side plate uses the 2, 6, and 9 buttons.

Answer: I'm a righty but I can use a mouse in both hands. Use my left hand for mousing at work and my right at home since I spend to many hours in front of computers during a day. This mouse is bad for lefties for sure. The angle and button placements makes it a no go in my opinion.

Answer: The mouse will work with Mac. I use a Mac at work and a PC at home. From my PC at home I can program the DPI settings and save them into one of the profile slots on the mouse so that they will be the same on my Mac at work. However, you will not be able to program the button functions for the mouse through the Logitech software on the Mac. Some of the buttons are programmable via the Mac preferences pane but I've found that the Mac doesn't seem to pick up the left and right scrollwheel buttons. The DPI shift button works as expected though.Also, i want to point out that the Logitech G software does have a Mac version. And I am able to program my Logitech g500 and g602 mouse with it. My guess is that the surface calibration feature of the g502 is the thing that's holding Logitech back from making this fully compatible with Mac. They've been progressively making their other G mice mac compatible over the past couple of years. So hopefully the g502 will be added to that list at some point as well.
