Question:	What is the length without the side pieces figured into the dimension
Answer:	The canvas itself is 39" long. Note there is a slight taper at the end which begins about 4 inches from each end. I love this product. I'm a pretty big guy and loading this to it's max capacity is about all the wood I can haul in one trip. I have used a lot this year already and it shows no signs of wear. It is very tough.
