Answer:	It didn't work when I tried it with Linux Mint 16. No assistance on Asus website. Didn't pursue the matter further.

I did call the support number and they confirmed that it wasn't happening and that Windows 8/8.1 blows. They suggested I downgrade to Windows 7. If I do downgrade to 7 it won't be to get this $15 part to work- it will be to stop the nightmarish experience of Windows 8. The number for support is 1-812-282-2787. And yes (I'm looking at you, smug sophisticated tech geeks) I should've known better, but I didn't and I hope this saves someone else a little trouble and $14.99. Answer:	No, The M185 is NOT a unifying mouse, so the Unifying Receiver will not work with it. The M325 and The M500 line are the least expensive that are Unifying. on the Logitech website when you go to Products > Mice You can filter by USB Unifying to see the list.

Answer:	K350 is supposed to be compatible but that doesn't mean it works without configuration. You must download the unifying software free from Logitech and run it to connect your compatible devices. You may already have it installed if you ran the installation software. Look under Start, Logitech, Unifying software or something to that effect.
Question:	Hello my sister gave me the keyboard but not the usb unifying receiver can i buy this to get the keyboard work i dont want to buy this if it not going
Answer:	If your keyboard has the orange "unifying" logo like on this receiver, it should work. If not, then probably not even if the Logitech website seems to say that it does. For example, I have a K270 wireless keyboard without the orange logo. The Logitech website says that the unifying receiver works with the K270 keyboard. So I ordered one but it didn't work for me and the seller does not accept returns of this item. After much digging, I finally found out that the unifying receiver only works with certain sub-models of the K270 and mine isn't one of those. So I wouldn't buy this if your keyboard doesn't have the orange logo.
